Atractylodes Herbal Remedies
Atractylodes is slightly aromatic, relieves painful digestion, and is stimulating and diuretic. It improves digestion and counteracts fatigue and loss of appetite. The dried rhizome is used to tonify the spleen and to treat diarrhea and stomach problems. A Chinese study revealed that atractylodes may be used preventatively for stress-induced gastric ulcers. It has also been used to treat the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Atractylodes has a taste of BITTER, SWEET and a temperature of WARM.
