Chives Herbal Remedies

Chives are a relative of garlic and onions and have similar but milder medicinal properties. They have been used for colds and flu and as an appetite stimulant. Historically, they were purported to be an aphrodisiac. Chives contain an essential oil, which is rich in sulphur, and they are used extensively in cooking. Chives has a taste of ACRID and a temperature of WARM.
