Meadowsweet Herbal Remedies

Meadowsweet contains natural salicylates and is used to treat headaches, fever, and cystitis. It has also been recommended for treating ulcers. As an analgesic and antirheumatic, it is taken for gout, arthritis, and rheumatism. The herb is considered a gentle astringent for treating diarrhea and excessive menstrual bleeding and an antacid for treating heartburn. Meadowsweet has a taste of AROMATIC, BITTER and a temperature of COOL.
