Tamarind Herbal Remedies
Tamarind, a popular Indian spice ingredient in curries and chutneys, is used medicinally as a laxative, antinauseant, and vermifuge. It is also beneficial for jaundice, hyperacidity, flatulence, and fevers. An infusion of tamarind is employed as a gargle for sore throats.
