"Daddy" wannabes who seek alternative treament for infertility are in for a slippery treat.

Researchers of the Laboratory of Reproduction & Genetics at the Nanjing General Hospital tested the validity of Jujingwan, or the “Sperm-gathering Pill” formula which is found in Chapter Four of the Ming Dynasty traditional Chinese medicine tome “Gynecological Treatment Standard.”

Scientists made a pill from "yellow croaker" maws and milkvetch seeds which can energize sperms to swim faster toward an egg. "Fish maws" are the swim bladders, or gas bladders inside fish that enables a fish to control its buoyancy.
