Aromatherapy Specialists Kachina Herbs
Kachina Herbs is a modern apothecary and aromatherapy shop that prides itself on its use of the highest quality certified organic, pure essential oils and herbs.
Owner and founder Kelli McCormack, who has been practicing aromatherapy since the tender age of 17, said Kachina Herbs was created because of a lack of alternative healthcare, skincare and homecare solutions in her area. She began by making her own cleansers, and from there, using only aromatherapy supplies from a small, elite group of importers, traders and distillers, she branched into a full-blown boutique-apothecary/school.
Kachina herbs is known best for their pain relief salves, allergy salves, rejuvenation teas and custom made elixers for depression or stress. In them, McCormack says you will never find animal parts or animal testing, or unethically-harvested materials for essential oil production.
Kachina Herbs offers classes that empower patients to take an active part in their preventive healthcare. Students, patients and interested parties can learn basic soap making or choose an in-depth curriculum for certification in aromatherapy science.
McCormack said that this fall, Kachina Herbs is Bringing Scented Sexy Back, by capitalizing on some ideas she read in A Scented Palace: The Secret History of Marie Antoinette's Perfumer by Elisabeth de Feydeau. So look for scented clothing and accessories in their line of Kachina Chic.
McCormack will also be speaking at Nova Southeastern University on Wednesday, September 26th. For more visit 38 S. Federal Hwy. Suite 8, in Dania Beach.
