Chiropractors Champion CHAMP Act

Chiropractors are urging each other and the rest of the U.S. to get the
CHAMP Act legislation, HR 3162, to bind.
Slated 2008 and 2009 Medicare cutbacks for doctors are making it impossible to stay on the program.
Medicare began including prescription drugs, which was a good thing. But then it got too expensive for the government, and that's a bad thing.
So the government has decided to take it out of the practitioners’ pockets, and that’s another bad thing, says the
International Chiropractors Association PAC.
So they’re now spreading the word that massive reforms are needed in the Medicare program.
Now that Congress is back in session after its August rest, they say, it’s time to get down to the business of saving the business.
So they’re calling for a mass emailing of
U.S. State Senators to please support the House version of the CHAMP Act (HR 3162) and
“to address the top priorities of America’s provider’s, patients and families. Reduce the unnecessary and unproductive overpayments to the private Medicare Advantage managed care plans. Support doctors and seniors by stopping the scheduled Medicare physician payment cuts and instead replacing them with positive updates. And that Medicare fee cuts are unfair and will only drive more doctors out of the program.”
Power to the People.
