Combining Specialties in Chiropractic Care With Miami’s Dr. Mike Wendrow

North Miami Beach chiropractor Dr. Mike Wendrow’s medical philosophy is pure and simple: it takes more than adjustment to treat an injury.

Dr. Wendrow, who has been practicing since 1989 and is owner of Care Plus Injury Rehabilitation Center in North Miami, offers three specialties (chiropracty, physical therapy and massage therapy) under one roof, in his longstanding business.

In the early 90s, his reputation for treating athletic injuries reached the local health club circuit and soon he earned a steady stream of clients from there, as well as local high school athletic teams and tennis clubs.

Depending on the patient and the injury, Dr. Wendrow said, he adds other treatments such as electro-muscular stimulation, ultrasound, paraffin treatments, and exercise as part of one of the specialties.

What this means, is that all day long in his upbeat clinic, to the tune of classic Rock & Roll, patients are sweating, stretching, moving, and grooving their way to more than just injury rehab. In most cases they are in better shape than when they came in.
