Coping Well With Stress Linked with Good Cholesterol

Do you sweat the small stuff? You might want to try not to. A study released at the 115th Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association revealed that men who were better able to cope with stress experienced higher levels of "good cholesterol."
More than 700 men aged 65 and older participated in the study. These men were asked questions about their coping strategies, then had their cholesterol levels measured.
While the sample showed no decrease in bad cholesterol, it did show an increase in good cholesterol in those who had more positive perspectives or dealt positively with stress.
One way for men to reduce their stress levels, is through yoga. The most popular yoga with younger men currently is
Hot Yoga.
Hot Yoga, or better known as Bikram Yoga is great for total body fitness because in a really heated room muscles will relax and achieve postures that defy gravity.
Additionally, as you sweat, your body eliminates toxins. Men enjoy the intensity of the rigorous asanas, or poses.
