Floridians Celebrate AOM Day

We reported to you here on AltMD about the upcoming, nationwide celebration of Alternative and Oriental Medicine Day (AOM Day) on October 24th.

It is an endeavor recognized not only by the United States, but also in Canada and Mexico, to boost public knowledge of the credible progress and benefits of acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Throughout these three countries alternative and complementary medical specialists frequently contribute to honor AOM Day with open houses, treatment discounts and free educational lectures.

Locally, the Hallandale Beach organization, Academy for Five Element Acupuncture will recognize AOM Day with a two-day workshop called Taking the Next Step. It is designed for specialists looking to master their art and techniques with hands-on training. Practitioners are welcomed to bring their own patients to the workshop for live, practical practice.

Other participants celebrating AOM Day throughout Florida include the Natural Health Center as well as the Family Healing Center in Sarasota, Orlando Acupuncture in Central Florida, and Stuart S. Shipe D.O.M., P.A. traditional Chinese medical practice in Port St. Lucie.

Check the official AOM Day website for more information about these and other nationwide events where you can celebrate AOM Day with other like minded individuals.
