Integrative Medicine 2007 Complementary Alternatives in Women's Health Care

Advances in medical technologies and new scientific research are leading many conventional doctors and nurses to understand the importance of treating the whole person by integrating complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies into their treatments.

To recognize and celebrate these advances in holistic healing the Integrative Medicine 2007 Complementary Alternatives in Women’s Health Care conference will take place in Sedona, Arizona on September 12th – 15th.

Goals of the this CAM health event include defining alternative therapies in relation to menopause, identifying herbal remedies used by many American women, discussing the therapeutic effects of yoga, acupressure, healing touch, visualization and guided imagery, and explaining integrative treatments in the management of chronic pain.

On Friday the general conference will break into smaller workshop groups in order to give participants the opportunity to discuss their CAM subject of choice with faculty and conference specialists.

Make sure to mark your calendar for this special event honoring women's health care and complementary and alternative medicine.
