Make Your Body Strong With Qi Gong

Summertime should be a season to relax, have fun in the sun, and create precious memories on family vacations.
But for many of us stress doesn’t take time off, no matter what season. Stress-related disorders are at an all-time high, and other bodily ailments like chronic back pain, hypertension and heart diseases can wreak havoc on our bodies and mental health.
A powerful method for dealing with such disorders involves the alternative healing practice of Qi Gong, practiced daily by millions in China and supported by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
Qi Gong uses meditation and movement to balance the body’s “life energy,” also known as Qi. The United Kingdom’s Complementary Medical Association explains that Qi Gong’s, “combination of movement, breathing and meditation will help to heal by channeling Qi energy to the problem areas. The exercises are said to stimulate certain meridians and acupoints on the body thus enhancing the flow and effectiveness of the Qi energy.”
According to the U.K.’s CMA, a loose translation of the alternative healing term Qi Gong means, “cultivation and conservation of vital energy.”
