Massage Therapy Convention in Cincinnati

Another exciting health event is right around the corner!

The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) is holding its annual convention at the Hilton Cincinnati on September 26th – 29th. This national event is expected to draw thousands in the massage therapy and health care industries.

This is one of the nation’s premier massage events due to the chance of earning those all-important continuing education credits; up to 19 are available. But as an added bonus for those attendees arriving early, 16 more CEU’s can be earned at the workshop, “CORE Institute’s Sports Performance Bodywork” hosted by George Kousaleos from Tallahassee, Florida.

Kousaleos first earned a clinical psychology degree from Harvard before he went on to study at the American Institute of Massage Therapy. In addition to teaching bodywork in West Germany, New York and Tallahassee, Kousaleos also served as the General Manager of the British Olympic Association Sports Massage Team in the 90’s and as the Co-director of the Sports Massage Team for the Olympics hosted in Athens in 2004.

Other highlights of this massage convention include lectures and seminars given by columnists for the print and online publication, Massage Today.
