October Event: 10th World Congress on Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine

October is a very busy month in the world of traditional Chinese medicine and alternative health events. In addition to the nationwide celebration of AOM Day on October 24th, 2007, the month of the pumpkin patch is also time to celebrate the 10th World Congress on Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Historically the World Congress on Qigong and TCM meets in the United States. However, this year will mark the first time that the World Congress will meet in Tokyo, Japan. To celebrate the unprecedented locale, the First International Shaolin Qigong Conference and the First Qigong Science Culture and Skillfulness Festival will also coincide with the 10th World Congress, all occurring on October 5th – 7th.

These TCM events will bring together world renowned Qigong masters, scientists, experts and 150,000 people from the general public to “meet, discuss and demonstrate important research, techniques and discoveries in Qigong and TCM.”
