Oriental Medicine Event

Another event to follow up the highly touted AOM Day on October 24th is the 19th annual Pacific Symposium hosted by the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine on November 8th through the 11th at Mission Bay in San Diego.

This alternative health event is a great opportunity to earn a maximum of 50 continuing education unit credit hours.

The popular resource, Acupuncture Today, will feature its favorite columnist Felice Dunas, Ph.D. as the keynote speaker, presenting on the topic of "The Role of TCM in Corporate Wellness Programs." Other contributors from Acupuncture Today at the acupuncture event include Honara Lee Wolfe lecturing on "Treating Patients Who are Taking Western Medicine with Chinese Herbs" and "Making the Most of Your Herbal Dispensary."

Kiko Matsumoto, Bruce Robinson and Mark Kastner will speak on conditions that acupuncture can treat such as obesity, danger signs in TCM and acupuncture for athletes.

In addition to extensive education through lectures and exhibits the oriental medicine convention will also play host to a networking party on November 9th and an open house on November 10th.
