Reading Round-up: Naomi’s Guide to Aging Gratefully

This morning’s edition of
Your Total Health featured famous country crooner Naomi Judd. But this interview wasn’t highlighting the songstress’ profitable career in country music; this interview discussed Judd’s book that came out earlier this year,
Naomi’s Guide to Aging Gratefully.
Judd’s experience as a cancer survivor gives her plenty of first-hand knowledge in gratitude. In addition, the book is packed with the latest research that gives readers the scoop on how to add 15 years to their lives.
“Each chapter includes vital new health information and proactive lifestyle suggestions for your body, mind, and spirit,” explained Judd.
This morning Judd spoke with Your Total Health’s host Hoda Kotb and has talked in previous interviews about the role and control we have in our own health. “Heart disease is the number one cause of death, but 70 percent of arterial aging is preventable. Fifty percent of illnesses associated with aging (diabetes, broken bones, heart attack, and more) can be prevented.”
Her inspiration for the book came after she was named one of Grand magazine’s top ten sexiest grandparents, alongside Harrison Ford, Pierce Brosnan and Goldie Hawn.
