Reading Round-up: Statements of Fact in Traditional Chinese Medicine

An updated book in
traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is slated to hit shelves in August. Bob Flaws has revised and expanded a new edition of
Statements of Fact in Traditional Chinese Medicine. New additions to the popular TCM guide include up-to-date facts with the complementary Chinese characters and Pinyin Romanization as well as the author’s commentary and explanation of each new fact.
This 275-page volume is “linguistically accurate,” and contains a “succinct list of the key statements of fact in TCM…” Flaws’ book, which contains contributing work from authors Michael Johnston and Timothy Rogers, is said to “quickly and efficiently help teach English language students and practitioners.”
Bob Flaws studies Buddhism for 18 years with several Nyingmapa lamas. He later graduated from the Boulder School of Massage Therapy and also studied acupuncture-moxibustion and Chinese medicine.
