applied kinesiology information

Applied Kinesiology – sometimes going by the acronym AK – is a diagnostic technique that uses muscle testing as the approach to look at how an individual’s body is performing.  Applied Kinesiology practitioners connect the key elements of many complementary healing approaches and proponents feel that AK is an interdisciplinary approach to health care.  Applied Kinesiology is often used in a sports medicine setting and may focus on the diagnoses of injuries common to athletes.  The AK Practitioner uses tools that may include muscle treatments and other diagnostic tests that result in information suited to treating the skin, ligaments, tendons and joints of the injured patient.
