color therapy information

Color & Light Therapy in many forms has been around throughout the ages.  It is believed that paying close attention to and programming the colors and light that surround us can be helpful to our health and wellness.  There is a whole field of ongoing scientific research that is studying how color and light can affect us, especially as a healing tool and process and to promote general wellness for an individual.  A recent study is focused on how colored light can be used to produce an acupuncture-like effect on the recipient.  Color & Light Therapy can be considered both an alternative type treatment and a modality used in the conventional medical setting.  Color & Light Therapy is part of the emerging field of Integrative Treatment.
