muscle activation techniques information
Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) is described as “a dramatic, non-invasive treatment process that both identifies and corrects muscular imbalances that can cause chronic pain and injury.” According to proponents, MAT is corrects the muscular imbalances that cause pain and also are used to improve a patient’s performance as an athlete and in one’s everyday activities. More than theoretical, Muscle Activation Techniques are said to be built on science and proven experience and are useful to treat repetitive stress injuries and the pain that ensues. Experts believe that MAT can “resolve the cause of many of these dysfunctions, by correcting the problem not just the symptoms”.
