reflexology information

Reflexology, also know as Zone Therapy, is the healing practice of massaging, squeezing, or pushing on parts of the feet, hands and ears to promote a healing response on other body parts and to improve the general health and wellness of the individual.  Reflexology has many skeptics and there is no well accepted understanding on how and why it works.  Reflexology is considered an Alternative or Complementary health approach today and works to restore and maintain the body's natural balance and encourage healing.  The Reflexology practitioner – called a Reflexologist – treats each patient uniquely with what is described as gentle therapy to help patients overcome energy blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the whole body.
