At BodyWise Chiropractic we believe chiropractic care is about giving the patient an opportunity to discover and maintain improved health. In addition to providing pain relief, we provide suggestions to help you, the patient, stay well once you feel better. As you may know, the body has an innate intelligence, or self healing mechanism. In order for the innate to heal, your body's nervous system must be free of interference. Chiropractors restore nervous function by removing interference with chiropractic adjustments. These adjustments are generally done hands on, as gentle manipulation of the joints restores their mobility. In our office, we combine chiropractic adjustments with soft tissue therapies and physiotherapy. This treatment model has shown to be successful in our office to treat conditions such as low back pain, headaches and neck pain due to tension in addition to sports and overuse injuries. Our expecting patients find they are able to move more comfortably throughout their pregnancy while under chiropractic care.
