Meet Jed...

Offering Holistic Counseling, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Mind-Body Healing Services, & Other Mind-Body Healing Services.  Located in the Kendall area of Miami-Dade County, Florida.  Services provided by Jed Shlackman, LMHC.  This is a private practice.  Services are also available on-site and via phone sessions and consultations.

Jed completed his master's degree in counseling in 1996 and has been working as a therapist since 1997, gaining a variety of training and experience since then.  Jed has come to build expertise in mind-body and holistic healing modalities, working with hypnosis, energy healing, and energy psychology techniques, as well as vibrational healing and nutritional healing resources.

Jed's approach avoids risky, invasive treatments such as psychoactive medications, focusing instead on the natural healing powers we have within us and natural healing resources in our natural environment.  Clinical experience and empirical evidence lend validation to this holistic approach, as public awareness grows about the dangers of relying solely on allopathic medicine as a way to address symptoms of dis-ease or dis-comfort.

Jed Shlackman graduated from the University of Miami with degrees in psychology and counseling.  He has worked in the mental health field since 1996 and has studied a variety of healing modalities, including hypnotherapy, energy psychology, energy healing, nutritional healing, and other modalities.  Jed has worked primarily with mental health issues, but since opening up to his abilities as a powerful energy healer he has worked with an increasing number of clients who find physical healing occurs following energetic healing sessions and application of mind-body therapies.

Jed is a certified hypnotherapist (2001) and certified in Neuromodulation Technique (2003), Psych-K (2007), and DNA Theta Healing (2008).  Jed is also a Regenetics Potentiation Electromagnetic Repatterning facilitator.  Jed is the author of the book Consciousness, Creation, and Existence: A Guide To The Grand Adventure, published in 2008 and available through Amazon.com and many other book sellers.
