I would like my blog's readers to review the following excerpt from an article posted online at www.divinecosmos.com by researcher David Wilcock, in order to gain a greater understanding of how consciousness and energy create what we experience in physical reality - in this case how they determine the appearance of infectious illness such as influenza.  Once you understand these concepts it will become apparent that we can effectively prevent and heal illness by developing a positive, balanced mental outlook, healing distressing emotions, and raising our vibration with methods such as yoga, reiki, tai chi, chi gong, deep breathing, meditation, prayer, eating light and using lots of raw and living foods, being grateful, listening to inspiring music, reading enjoyable books, engaging in creative activities that feed our soul and let our spirit flow freely, and of course getting adequate rest, sunshine, fresh air, and pure water.  I am quoting this excerpt below in italicized text:

THE ENERGETIC COMPONENT TO VIRAL INFECTION

For many years now I have studied formerly-classified Russian research into ‘torsion fields’. These fields actually provide the raw energy that forms and sustains matter and life as we now know it.

Unfortunately for mainstream scientists who want to directly measure everything, these fields only exist in a hyper-dimensional space. [More specifically, they exist in what we could think of as ‘time’, if you assign it three dimensions as opposed to Einstein’s single ‘Fourth Dimension.’]

Since they are outside our own three dimensions, torsion fields cannot be directly measured here — only their after-effects, which result once they have been subjected to vibrations.

Even more bizarrely, there is a great wealth of scientific information showing that the fields themselves are intelligent and conscious — that consciousness is, in fact, a universal phenomenon. That is precisely what my Hollywood film CONVERGENCE will be all about.

"SACRED GEOMETRY" IS A FLUID VIBRATION

Physical matter, at its smallest level, is built from vibrations in the torsion fields. The fields themselves usually behave like a fluid, and when you vibrate any fluid at ‘pure’ sound frequencies, you naturally get geometry.

This was aptly demonstrated, as I have said many times before, by Dr. Hans Jenny’s ‘Cymatics’ experiments, as you can see here:

Image

All you are seeing here is a clear liquid that is filled with tiny white particles known as colloids. Each frame of the above picture simply represents the geometric pattern you get when you vibrate this fluid at different sound frequencies.

The frequency creates the geometry. Get it?

Physical matter, at the tiniest level, is built from ‘sacred geometry’ that has crystallized out of torsion fields. That is the biggest missing secret of mainstream quantum mechanics.

VIRUSES HAVE AN ENERGETIC COMPONENT

Amazingly, the majority of viruses have a perfect ‘sacred geometry’ within their structure, most commonly seen as the icosahedron:

Image

Even more stunning is the Russian researcher Dr. Vlail Kaznacheyev’s groundbreaking study, where he proved that a disease could be energetically transmitted  into healthy cells, hermetically sealed, at a distance:

Image

This proves that viruses are not simply ‘physical things.’ Kaznacheyev proved that they are frequencies.

Kaznacheyev used existing tissue that was already veering towards ‘dead’ because it has been separated from the protective biofields of the host organism. He was then able to send the energy frequency of viruses into these separated, unprotected cells.

The frequency of the virus alone was able to re-arrange the genetic material in those separated, unprotected cells and spontaneously generate the virus, thus causing the infection to form.

You can see how the ‘sacred geometry’ of the virus is a crystallized waveform by looking back to Dr. Hans Jenny’s ‘Cymatics’ diagram once again. This is how it really works.

Though the Russians understand this energetic component, thankfully the New World Order / Neocon faction does not. This is why hardly any of their purported attempts to infect large numbers of people ever actually work out.

Even if they DID understand the frequency component, and found a way to try to use it, that still wouldn’t be able to hurt people. Russian pyramid studies clearly showed that higher-intensity torsion fields automatically out-resonate anything that could be harmful to life — even turning toxic poisons into inert, safe substances.

HEALING STUDIES

One of the data points we collected for the CONVERGENCE film concerns Dr. Daniel Benor. He compiled the most exhaustive collection of ‘healing studies’ ever done — fully 191 studies where the power of the human mind alone was used in various attempts to heal everything from single-celled organisms to plants, animals, birds, fish and humans — even at great distances such as from New York to Los Angeles.

Of these 191 studies, fully 64 percent showed that the simple focus of the mind upon healing another lifeform created a very substantial healing effect.

THIS
is another one of the major pieces of ‘suppressed science’ that the criminal cartels of the world have wanted to suppress.

By this same system, viruses will not take hold unless the consciousness / torsion field ‘frequency’ of the person is diminished enough to allow it to activate.

These healing studies do show that a positive, upbeat and ‘loving’ attitude is not merely a psychological phenomenon. The positive attitude actually raises ‘energy’ in the body — i.e. torsion fields — that dramatically helps prevent disease.

In this case, the energetic component of these viruses is unable to activate, and they remain dormant — and are soon wiped out by your white blood cells.

Again, this is another component of how we live in a highly structured reality. Events such as plagues and diseases do not happen at random. They flourish when the conditions of consciousness allow them to.

Even if you yourself do not have a sufficiently positive, loving attitude to out-resonate these problems on your own, it has been scientifically proven that getting other people to pray for you can have a very substantial healing effect.

Other people’s naturally-occurring torsion fields can be directed towards you, to pump up the frequency of your own ‘energy’ sufficient to shatter the viruses or bacteria causing the problem.

So, as we read David Wilcock's commentary, we can see that our vulnerability to illness is something that we ourselves have responsibility for - the vaccination paradigm is actually something which disempowers us (without even considering the potential toxins that are present in vaccine formulations and injected to bypass natural exposure routes).  If you believe that infectious agents have the power to make you sick just because they appear in your community then you CAN create that reality.  Yet you can also create a reality where you are in a high vibrational state and the pathogens have no effect on you.  When you do start to become ill your body has the intelligence and wisdom to take action to restore itself to wellness.  You get a fever to halt the viral replication process and you may vomit out toxins and rotten food that has drained your energy.  You feel a need to rest and let your system replenish its energy.  Your appetite changes to keep you from overeating and having your energy drained by digestion requirements (so drink fresh juices filled with antioxidants and use natural compounds that help enhance your immune system, such as vitamin C, oil of oregano, garlic extract, SOD, spirulina, vitamin D3, colostrum, lauric acid, echinacea, & goldenseal).  It's up to you to help your body recover - you can replenish your energy OR you can choose to be in a negative emotional state and/or to resist your healing response by taking drugs, stressing yourself, and maintaining regular activities.  Health is a state when we are open to our natural energy flow.  When we cut off that energy flow we are likely to experience symptoms that let us know we are out of balance and blocking that flow of well-being.  Let us become aware and heed what the feedback system of Life is communicating to us.

This week there is a sudden flood of media reports about an epidemic of swine flu (influenza) that has appeared in many places around the world, with initial reports only showing significant numbers of deaths associated with this in Mexico City.  There are several issues surrounding this news phenomenon that I would like to highlight in order to help readers avoid reacting with fear while taking intelligent steps to prevent getting the influenza and if having this or some other viral infection to treat it with effective holistic approaches.

First, the flu strain that seems to be appearing in people in these places is reported to be a combination of human, avian, and swine flu varieties - a hybrid which is unlikely to appear so quickly in a natural manner, suggesting it comes from a medical research or biological weapons center.  That it appears suddenly in such a geographically widespread range of places also suggests that it may have been artificially released.  A recent report about batches of vaccines contaminated with live viruses gives one clue as to how viral epidemics can be spread rapidly in modern times.  With any pathogen there is a process whereby the population builds up a relatively high level of immunity to it, which is why vaccine campaigns typically only appear successful when the population builds a high level of natural immunity (the success of the vaccine in wiping out an illness is therefore an illusion since those who weren't vaccinated simultaneously show a similar waning of the illness).  This newer combined strain of flu presumably hasn't been around long enough for there to be a pre-existing immunity to it, so people who are vulnerable could easily come down with this flu.  Vulnerability comes from mental, emotional, energetic, and physical factors.  Psychological stresses, feelings of disempowerment, fear, anger, grief, and other psychological patterns that drain our energy can leave us vulnerable to illness.  On a physical level, drug abuse, malnutrition, overeating, dehydration, excessive acidity, exposure to toxins, and exposure to excessive quantities of pathogens (including harmful bacterias, viruses, molds, parasites, etc.) can push the body into a state of weakness and breakdown that invites infection.

Most people will have a sufficient natural immune response to influenza which effectively eliminates the virus and builds future immunity to the strains of flu that have been experienced.  Once a certain threshold is reached, the natural immunity will tend to become widespread across the population.  This is related to the "100th Monkey Syndrome" where a certain percentage of monkeys on an island learned a skill and that skill spontaneously appeared in monkeys geographically distant from the ones who first developed the skill.  There is a non-local field effect involved that relates to concepts present in quantum physics and studies of non-local consciousness.  Quantum entanglement and the unified field theory explain how on some level we are all connected and can access information from the quantum field.

Keeping in mind the factors that create vulnerability, if you counteract those factors you can enhance your immune system and prevent catching the illness - and even speed up recovery if you have already come down with a flu.  For people with a severely compromised immune system, powerful antiviral agents may be needed to keep them from being overcome by the illness.  Our most important antiviral defense is our natural fever mechanism which halts viral DNA replication.  Suppressing fevers that haven't gone extremely high can be quite risky since the body needs the fever to halt the virus' spread and give the immune system time to respond effectively to clear away the virus.  There are a number of primarily natural compounds that help wipe out viruses in the body, which includes garlic, oregano oil, MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement), colloidal silver, zeolites (e.g. Natural Cellular Defense), high dose vitamin C, and some herbal compounds.  Echinacea & goldenseal are immune system boosters/tonics that can also help support recovery.

Allopathic drugs used to fight viral infections have drawbacks (such as their toxicity - so even if it does kill the viruses it contributes to the bio-energetic state that invites subsequent infection).  Another problem is that people often impulsively take antibiotics at any sign of illness, when these have no effect on viruses and they weaken one's digestive system by destroying healthy bacteria/probiotics.  Supplementing with probiotics and enzymes helps improve digestive efficiency, allowing your body to have more energy and resources to devote to immune system functioning.

The number one thing I want to impart to readers is to avoid fear and not become emotionally drawn into the news stories about people sick and dying from infectious illnesses.  Healthy people who employ safe measures to treat flu and other common infections are going to have full recoveries.  These types of illnesses are common and people regularly recover with no problem and with no media coverage.  If fear and hysteria get spread among the population then THAT will weaken people's immune systems and help spread the epidemic and increase the percentage of those who would die from the infections.

While flu is very common, deaths from flu are normally rare.  CDC statistics have been manipulated in the past to include those who die from pneumonia when tallying flu deaths.  Pneumonia can be a result of failed treatment of influenza.  When fever lowering drugs suppress the body's ability to halt viral replication then the infection may spread to the lungs - which becomes pneumonia.  In those cases, it was the mistreatment which led to pneumonia and death, NOT the flu virus encountering a natural immune response.

I encourage readers to visit www.naturalnews.com and also read the reports on the Avian Flu, Tamiflu, and the 1918 Flu Epidemic that were posted at www.brojon.org

To rephrase a famous FDR quote, the biggest thing we have to "fear" is fear itself - and that's something we have power over since we can learn to manage our own emotions and transform our own thoughts and beliefs.

I've received for review from Amazon.com a copy of the new book The Subtle Body: An Encyclopedia of Your Energetic Anatomy, by Cyndi Dale.  I find this new book to be an impressive, well-illustrated guide to energy system concepts and energy healing modalities.

It includes topics such as:
Chakras, Energy Meridians, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Reiki, Intentional Healing, Distance Healing, Ayurveda, Shiatsu, Energy Fields, Auras, Sacred Geometry, Color Healing, Sound Healing, Magnetism, Cymatics, Barbara Brennan Healing, Biofeedback, Zero-Point Field, Scalar Waves, Geopathic Stress, EMFs, Royal Rife, Nikola Tesla, Life Fields, Thought Fields, Torsion Fields, Shamans, Hans Jenny, Peter Garaiaev, Leonard Horowitz, Morphogenetic Fields, Rupert Sheldrake, Etheric Energy, Orgone Energy, Chi, Hyaluronic Acid, Kundalini, Energy Bodies, Nadis, Pranayama Breathing, Tibetan, Mayan, Kabbalistic, Tantric, Native American, Chinese, Taoist, Thai, Buddhist, Incan, Christian, Egyptian, and Indian Energy Systems, Crystals & Gemstones, Elements, EFT, Homeopathy, Massage, Diet & Nutrition, Kinesiology, Muscle Testing, Chi Gong, Radiesthesia, Acutonics, Aromatherapy, Biogeometry, Bau-biologie, Chiropractic, Feng Shui, Flower Essences, Family Constellations, Hypnotherapy, Iridology, Johrei, Matrix Energetics, Meditation, Myofascial Release, Naturopathy, NLP, Pranic Healing, Quantum Touch, Rolfing, Spiritual Healing, Tai Chi, Tui Na, Yoga, Yuen Method, and Zero Balancing.

This book has excellent illustrations related to the chakras and meridian systems and reflexology, and it is more comprehensive than any other book I've seen that explores energetic therapies and complementary healing modalities.  Some topics it only mentions briefly while other topics are explored in depth.  This book is a great reference work and it is very valuable in bringing to public awareness many lesser known energetic therapies and energy transformation methods.  Practitioners may find this useful to expand their awareness of the many different therapies that are around, and health care consumers will get to learn about the many theories and practices that have generated a wealth of options for fostering health and well-being.

I was very impressed that this book did not avoid sharing about some of the more controversial and suppressed therapies and healing pioneers.  Even if you may find a few flaws or errors in how modalities are presented, this book is remarkable for all that it includes - and thereby helps validate.  The field of energetic medicine and healing continues to expand so I expect that there will be future editions of this book with more modalities and perhaps more detail in some areas.  For now, it is a very well-compiled overview of energy healing and subtle energy systems and theories.  There is a lot included in this nearly 500 page volume, and the book is nice to have as a resource.

Yours truly was an attendee at the University of Miami Integrative Medicine Symposium & Expo on the first of 2 days of this event for April 2009.  This was hosted at the UM Medical Wellness Center Clinical Research Building in cooperation with the UM Medical School's Department of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.  This Symposium/Expo featured a broad spectrum of educational presentations, demonstrations, and product exhibitors.  Sponsors included Medi-Herb, The BioMat Company, Whole Foods Market, Standard Process, & others.

The educational presentations were provided with continuing education credit for health care practitioners and were also made available as part of the physician training resources available for UM medical students, to help them see health care ideas and approaches that are outside the confines of conventional allopathic oriented medical school training.

Stated objectives for participants were as follows:
Compile a set of complementary therapies or techniques relevant to practicing integrative medicine.
Observe demonstrations of complementary and alternative (CAM) therapies including acupuncture, laser, Tai Chi, and mind-body acupressure.
Integrate some of the knowledge presented directly into their clinical practice.
Appraise the vastness of integrative and complementary medicine and collect information on approaches relevant to their practice or research.
Explain what integrative medicine means and where it fits into the future of medicine.
Assess how clinical nutrition may be significant to practicing medicine.
Assemble a lost of the types of CAM and integrative medicine health professionals relevant to organizing an integrative medicine practice.

Lectures I attended included one on genomics of mind-body medicine (focusing on genetics & hypnosis), spirituality and health (spiritual beliefs and practices influence on those with HIV and other illnesses; The Oneness Blessing), Music Therapy, The Plasma Energy Field effects on the human body (quantum energy fields, biophotons, subtle energy interference patterns, etc.), and Five Superfoods that can save your life (garlic, virgin coconut oil, cruciferous vegetables, turmeric, and green tea extract).  I also joined in the demonstration by a Reiki Master who was playing Tibetan/Himalayan singing bowls and didgeridoo to help people release energy blocks.

The lectures were all nice introductions to the topics, though some topics were too broad to fit into an hour lecture and the presenters didn't have a lot of time to address questions or listen to ideas or perspectives from their audience.  I'll share here some of my comments on the presentations and demonstrations, which are just a sample of what was going on at this symposium.  It was excellent to see The University of Miami making this available to students, professionals, and the public.  Dr. Konefal, a practitioner and teacher of energy psychology methods, was instrumental in organizing this symposium and deserves much credit in putting it together.  I just have to advise her to be careful when speaking to sloppy, less-than-fair journalists like the Miami Herald's reporter assigned to this story, as the reporter printed some selected weak quotes from her that were framed to suppress the scientific recognition and validation of alternative medicine and natural healing modalities.  He also made significant factual errors in his article such as calling the Tibetan bowls "Tibetan tuning forks" and calling neuroloinguistic programming "neurolinguistic psychology."  It's unfortunate that the Miami Herald's reporter was less interested in getting the article facts accurate than in finding a way to spin his story to make it appear that holistic medicine has limited empirical validation.  He never even mentioned any nutritional or herbal treatment-describing lectures, which are topics very heavily backed by empirical research.  Luckily, intelligent readers like yourselves can explore information on the Internet from multiple viewpoints and come to your own conclusions.

At the bowls and didgeridoo demo I felt the style of playing the metal bowls that was demonstrated wasn't well-suited to an introduction, as the practitioner only rang the bowls, in a sometimes overly sharp manner, rather than rimming/singing the bowls.  That may be ideal for breaking loose stuck energy but it's not ideal for relaxation and meditation.  I felt that the Plasma Energy Field lecturer was unwisely evading discussion of metaphysical ideas in relation to the discussion of quantum energy fields - any deep discussion of healing will lead one into the realm of spirituality, consciousness, and metaphysics.  I also found the ideas about genetic susceptibility to hypnosis to be limited and based on inherently flawed research, with the presenter drawing some flawed conclusions.  In the talk on spirituality and HIV I found it interesting that those with positive spiritual beliefs tended to be more compliant with antiretroviral drugs... maybe if they had developed even more enlightened and empowering spiritual beliefs they would have come to a realization that they can heal themselves and move beyond needing drug treatment?  Those people treated for HIV who had a healthy, positive faith, tended to do well while on the medicines while those who felt abandoned or punished by God were likely to have poor responses to the medicine and less compliance.  Well, if you're not doing well on a drug what level of incentive is there to comply?  The study never looked at people from either type of spiritual views who wanted to avoid conventional HIV drugs and use either natural therapies or no therapies instead.  This research was commendable, while it primarily just reinforces what people in the metaphysical and mind-body healing fields would already be aware of about how thoughts/beliefs affect our health.

Aside from the flaws that I considered present in the presentations and research, and perhaps a few other weaknesses, these were informative lectures and probably much more enlightening than a lot of what is provided as medical school education.  I look forward to seeing more of these symposiums and demonstrations at the University of Miami in the future.

A March 2009 article by Shankar Vedantam of the Washington Post reports in its opening paragraph:

"New data from a large federal study have reignited a debate over the effectiveness of long-term drug treatment of children with hyperactivity or attention-deficit disorder, and have drawn accusations that some members of the research team have sought to play down evidence that medications do little good beyond 24 months."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/03/26/AR2009032604018.html

There are some truly remarkable aspects of this report.  First, the study being analyzed, the government-sponsored Multimodal Treatment Study of Children With ADHD (MTA) had originally been publicized in 1999 as showing support for the conventional pharmacological treatment approach to ADHD.  Then, in 2007, followup data showed no long-term benefits for those who had taken the medications, while indicating that there had been some statisticallly significant physical growth suppression apparent in the group of medicated children in the study.  Apparently, the growth of children wasn't the only thing suppressed, as the report of this new evidence was not widely disseminated and was actually reported in European media many months before getting noticed in the American press.  For example, The UK BBC reported on the new findings in 2007.  http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/panorama/7079233.stm

Another tidbit that wasn't reported was an apparently higher level of delinquent behavior in medicated children as compared to non-medicated children.  Substance abuse was not found to be higher in the medicated children, but that measure focused on illicit recreational substances rather than legally prescribed ones - so if these youth were experiencing a legally supported medication habit in which they get their drugs for free through doctors or health care plans it wouldn't be recognized in the study as substance abuse.  So if medication treatment appears to lower substance abuse in ADHD populations as some studies have suggested, it may merely be a case of giving these individuals a medically supported substance dependency that reduces their need or desire to resort to recreational drug habits.  That's nothing for researchers or doctors to brag about.

Another key fact about this NIMH MTA Study is that it was only comparing medication treatment to behavioral therapies, which are themselves superficial approaches to addressing ADHD or other childhood mental health diagnoses.  There was no comparison to nutritional therapies, diet, herbal remedies, exercise, stress management, family therapy, neurofeedback, or other treatments that are likely to address causal factors related to ADD/ADHD.  Even with that design which sought to create the appearance of medications being the ideal way of "treating" ADD/ADHD, the follow-up evidence shows that approach to be an utter failure.  Typically, research of psychiatric medications avoids doing any long-term outcome analysis, because those analyses have pretty consistently shown medications to generate more harm than benefit.  Journalist Robert Whitaker's Mad In America was an exceptional expose on the history of psychiatric profession delusions and mistreatments, which highlighted how treatments that show short term promise have so often been demonstrated to be a disaster over the long term.  We are fortunate that the evidence on the long-term effects from the MTA study has been published - sometimes studies are just kept quiet when the results are negative, but in this case the study was government sponsored and high profile, so all that could be done was to subdue the reporting of this data.

Those wishing to effectively address ADHD and ADD issues are encouraged to explore the resources and outline published at http://www.phinsights.com/adhd.html
There, you can learn about natural therapies and how using stress relief and stress reduction measures is a safe, effective approach to getting lasting resolution of ADHD difficulties.  Nutritional approaches also help individuals handle stress and maintain neurological equilibrium.  Equilibrium comes from within, not from drugs that momentarily override the state that a person is in.

Medical claims that ADHD or other psychiatric issues are "caused" by chemical imbalances in the brain that are best treated with medications are fundamentally misleading and deceptive.  Doctors have no way of establishing a cause-effect relationship between the brain state and mental or behavioral patterns.  One can generate the other, so the causality can appear in either direction.  Moreover, there are MANY causal factors that can lead to any given brain/neurological state.  Diet, drugs, digestion, TV viewing, video game playing, family stressors, school stressors, fears, environmental chemicals, sleep deprivation, and other factors can be significant contributors to the state of "chemical imbalance."  Yet, rather than investigating and addressing those issues in a way that fosters healthy lifestyle and empowerment for the patient, most physicians merely prescribe a drug to suppress or mask what is happening with the person.  Since the core issues are never resolved the patient continues to appear to "need" the medication.

There is real help available for those addressing challenges with ADHD - whether or not one has received that diagnosis, as the diagnosis has so often led to ineffective and hazardous treatments rather than true healing that many people choose to avoid seeing a doctor or getting an assessment.

When most people think of allergy treatments they think of getting prescription or over-the-counter medications that suppress an allergic response.  With food allergies, people often consider special diets or temporary periods of avoidance that may help the allergy or sensitivity fade out or disappear.

Whichever approach one has used to deal with allergies, it is helpful to begin exploring what allergies are and how they function.  Allergies involve some type of seemingly dysfunctional reaction by the body to something you come in contact with.  The contact could be via inhalation, skin contact, or ingesting (eating) something.  The body reacts as though it is being stressed in some way and needs to protect itself.  For example, mucus buildup and sneezing are the body's tools to trap and dispel harmful substances.  Skin inflammation and hives or rashes occur when something irritating is close to the skin.  There is often no immediately recognizable explanation for WHY the body is reacting to something in the way it is.  However, mind-body healing approaches often include the understanding that there is a psychological or emotional source of the body's subconscious response to its environment.

When we are under stress, either biological or emotional stress, the mind-body system seeks to protect itself.  Anything in our environment at the time of the stressor can be associated with that cue by the subconscious and lead to later allergic responses.  This is similar to the psychological condition of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder/syndrome) where a person has flashbacks and reacts as if in the traumatic circumstance when something occurs that is a trigger/reminder to the subconscious of the past stress.

So, smells, tastes, sounds, images, etc, can all be triggers.  These are how the memory of an experience is encoded and processed in the mind.  When the mind is overwhelmed by a stressful situation it resorts to whatever resources it has preprogrammed for self-protection and self-preservation.  Sometimes, these self-preservation programs get generalized to other situations that contain some sensory reminder of the original stressful experience.  There are many reported cases where a person who was regressed to a past stressful experience under hypnosis had an allergy go away after the session, as the re-viewing of the event shifted the way the subconscious encoded it, since the person was able to view the experience from an empowered state in which the anxiety/stress was no longer problematic.  Using hypnosis, energy psychology techniques (EFT, NMT, Psych-K) and other kinesiology-oriented techniques can help the mind and energy system release and clear the original stress and neutralize the previous triggers (allergies).  This has worked for many people.  There are a variety of approaches to allergy clearing using energetic and mind-body methods.  Some work with the energy system (chakras, meridians, etc.) to neutralize the energy state when the trigger is brought to awareness.  Others bring the patient into an altered state where the subconscious mind (often associated with the right brain hemisphere) is accessed and the original experience and it's encoding or energetic imprint are released and/or reprocessed.  Hypnosis and NLP are a couple of the reprocessing methods, with EMDR being another technique related to NLP that involves accessing brain hemisphere processing.

I have witnessed many shifts in allergies with these mind-body and energetic healing approaches and I encourage readers to learn more.  Allergies may often be something that can be fully cleared rather than merely suppressed or adjusted for.

As a mental health professional practicing in Miami for well over a decade I have witnessed the ongoing increase in autism and autistic spectrum disorder cases in the community.  Unfortunately, one does not have to be in the health care field to notice this, as these conditions are arising so frequently that more and more people are personally touched by autism.  You may have a relative or friend whose child is diagnosed with autism or another neuro-developmental disorder.  Many articles are written about autism and news stories are often presented with the spin on current research and controversies concerning autism.

Few Americans are aware of how heavily censored and restricted mainstream news reports on health and some other topics can be.  Pharmaceutical companies and other large corporate interests are substantial sponsors of media, including television, newspapers, magazines, and professional journals.  By sponsorship, I refer to multiple ways in which they have financial influence.  This includes advertising, grants, and pre-packaged news releases made available by corporations.  Now, much of the controversy surrounding autism involves the causes and treatment of these types of disorders.  Pharmaceutical companies benefit from promotion of treatment models that are biased toward their products and they also have an interest in censoring any information that would suggest their products may actually contribute to causing health problems or disabilities.

This control over information and research reports is interwoven with government regulation of health care.  Government regulations are often manipulated to favor corporate interests at the expense of the public's health.  We can't ultimately expect our government to protect our health, even though we have the right to demand that government officials and agencies protect our interests.  The reality is that powerful corporate interests and lobbyists have more leverage to influence government bodies than citizens do, especially since many officials involved in the regulatory process are non-elected bureaucrats who are either past or future employees of companies that are affected by the regulatory agencies.  We each face the responsibility of taking charge of our own health and healthcare choices.

Now, with that framework in our awareness, let's bring our attention to the controversies around Autism.  I recently received a review copy of the book Healing and Preventing Autism: A Complete Guide, by Jenny McCarthy & Jerry Kartzinel, M.D.  Jenny McCarthy is a well known actress and former PlayBoy centerfold whose child developed autism, and she has collaborated with a medical doctor who has also faced being a parent of an autistic child.  Jenny has gotten some lifestyle and entertainment media attention due to her celebrity status, yet her campaign to raise awareness of issues about causes and treatments of autism is mainly ignored by the news media.  Jenny and many other parents around the world are discovering that there are triggers for autism that include vaccinations and other toxic environmental exposures, and that successful treatments involve detoxification and methods to adjust diet and nutrition to compensate for and/or repair the issues that have developed due to these hazards.

Meanwhile, media outlets continue to promote government and industry claims that current research dismisses the notion that vaccines contribute to autism.  Research can be manipulated and distorted in a variety of ways to allow researchers to claim whatever finding they desire.  Research is a huge investment for pharmaceutical companies and they need a return on their investments, so there is strong pressure to create positive findings for their products and to hide any potential side effects and hazards.  There is great incentive for corporations and government to lie or mislead, whereas parents and independent healthcare providers (those not having a financial stake in drugs or healthcare products) are more likely to be only motivated to share their knowledge and experience honestly for the benefit of their audience.  The movement for natural prevention and treatment of autism is coming from these parents and independent healthcare practitioners.

I encourage parents to educate themselves and not merely accept as dogma what any supposed expert or authority tells them.  I have put together a resource list on the subject of Autism at www.phinsights.com/autism.html in order to help people locate the information needed to help them make informed decisions about care.  I am available to assist those seeking to address these concerns, providing the holistic resources I can offer as well as any referrals that can lead to needed assistance with biomedical approaches for addressing autism and neurodevelopmental impairment.  There are many resources available that can help and there is much hope for progress and recovery for those diagnosed with autism.  Let's truly promote Autism Awareness as more than a slogan - as a full commitment to a deep understanding of autism issues and all the treatment options that are available, being open to recognizing past mistakes and forgiving anyone who has contributed to the rise of autism cases.  We don't need to wait for official recognition to take action to help heal autism - great changes do often arise from the so-called grass roots, from common people who choose to create progress rather than accepting the status quo or staying in boxes of containment put out by dominant authorities and prevailing belief.

We live in a society and era of rapid change and many challenges.  Stresses can be present in our personal life and relationships, our job, career, or work setting.  Students experience stress in school, soldiers experience stress in their military service, unemployed persons experience stress in searching for a new job or meeting financial obligations or paying bills.  Anything in our lives that we feel resistance or discomfort with may be experienced as stress.

Fortunately, we also have access to many resources that help us relieve stress.  Hypnosis and Reiki are two of the main tools I work with that my clients find highly effective in helping them manage their stress.  Hypnosis can be done with a therapist, with a hypnosis recording, or by oneself as self-hypnosis.  Using guided imagery, soothing vocal tone, and relaxing sounds, one can be guided into a peaceful state, a sanctuary in one's own mind.

Reiki is a powerful energy healing modality that clears stress and balances one's energy system.  You can think of Reiki as a massage for the non-physical layers of your being.  This is called your aura.  When we feel stress this tension is present in our energy field, our aura.  Energy healers tune into the aura/energy field and use the energy radiating from their hands to release the tension and knots in your energy.  This is often done without any physical touch.  Most clients report feeling very relaxed after a Reiki session.  Many report feeling increased calmness, reduction in anxiety or depression, and diminishment of pain or other symptoms.  Reiki is also a technique that anyone can learn to do for oneself.  Research has found Reiki and other energy healing therapies to benefit those with stress-related conditions such as high blood pressure, and there is continuing research to explore the variety of health issues that may benefit from these therapies.  Visit www.reikimedresearch.org to see updates on clinical and research findings about Reiki.

I offer highly affordable Reiki classes that are available for both laypersons and healing professionals.  You can see what Reiki students report by viewing comments shown in the testimonials page at www.phinsights.com/testimonials.html

Modern medicine has often gotten into the mindset of attributing genetics as the "cause" for a variety of health challenges.  Genetic patterns often play a role in how illnesses manifest, yet having that awareness has often become a stumbling block to understand how to effectively treat these conditions.  The reason for this is that researchers focus on manipulating DNA at the biochemical level, which is generally not the root level from which genetic disturbances are being generated.  I will explain here how having a more accurate understanding of genetics and DNA can help us faciltiate amazing healings.

Our genetic patterns are basically patterns of information and intelligent blueprints for biological activity and behaviors.  These are in essence PATTERNS OF CONSCIOUSNESS.  Consciousness molds genetics, with DNA being biological antenna that respond to thoughts, emotions, and a wide range of frequencies such as light, sound, electromagnetic waves, nuclear radiation, microwaves, and radio frequencies.  Which genetic program gets activated depends on our consciousness.  A person with multiple personality may have present a disease such as diabetes that will disappear while the person shifts into an alternate personality.  Scientists have successfully applied frequencies of sound and light and other EM spectrum wavelengths to foster healing of DNA and even shifts in species coding of eggs and embryos.  How our consciousness perceives and reacts to our environment greatly determines our state of health.  Dr. Bruce Lipton's book The Biology of Belief and research in epigenetics details how our emotions and attitudes regulate genetic expression.  Dr. Leonard Horowitz's books such as DNA: Pirates of The Sacred Spiral and Healing Codes For The Biological Apocalypse offer insight on how sound and other frequencies can help heal our DNA and align us with the power of our Soul and the Creator.

SomaEnergetics is a healing modality using tuning forks tuned to the sacred Solfeggio Scale, found encoded in the Bible's book of Numbers by Dr. Joseph Puleo, a holistic doctor who received intuitive guidance to uncover this healing code.  The Solfeggio tone of 528hz has been found to assist in healing damaged DNA, and the full set of 6 tones is a powerful tool to "tune-up" our subtle energy system.  Adding in an OM tuner (Otto tuner) that tunes us to the natural rhythm of the Earth also helps ground and balance us.

Regenetics is another system of using these tuning forks.  Regenetics applies the power of intention combined with tuning forks and sacred vowel chants/toning to activate transformation of our subtle energy system, repairing distortions in our auric fields and chakra system and helping us align with unity consciousness and our Creative Source, by whatever name we call it.  Regenetics recognizes the research in quantum physics and mind-body medicine that demonstrates the fundamental nature of Consciousness as the basis of creating physicality.  Working with consciousness through visualization, verbal language, and intention, combined with sound frequencies, offers great healing potential.  The creator of Regenetics, Sol Luckman, in his book Conscious Healing, describes how he developed this method as he worked to heal the severe autoimmune illnesses that he had been crippled by after travel-associated vaccinations triggered a sudden collapse of his previously robust health.

Researcher and famed intuitive David Wilcock has compiled extensive documentation on the relationship between consciousness, energy, and genetics.  Wilcock has shared much of the Russian research on this topic that had been rarely publicized in the West.  His website is www.divinecosmos.com

More information on SomaEnergetics is available at www.somaenergetics.com while those looking to explore Regenetics can visit www.potentiation.net, the website of The Phoenix Center for Regenetics.
