When faced with a relationship change we sometimes experience grief and loss, anger, bitterness, fear, sadness, and embarrassment.
- Gain understanding for your experience
- Reduce your isolation
- Strengthen interpersonal relationships
- Share your thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive environment
- Learn from others
- Ask questions of yourself and others:
- What is happening to me?
- Why is this happening in my relationship?
- This wasn’t what I planned, now what?
- Can I make this go away?
- How will this impact my children? My family? Our community?
- Why do I feel so alone?
