BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
  • Bioidentical hormones, also known as natural hormones, are substances that have the same chemical structure as the hormones that are produced by the human body.  They also create the same physiologic response.  Bioidentical hormones are NOT drugs.  They are naturally occurring substances that are found in all humans since the time of conception. People with deficiencies of these hormones become overweight, flabby, frail, and lethargic; lose interest in sex; have trouble sleeping, concentrating, and remembering things; tire easily; and in general, lose their zest for life.
  • With Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), many of these age-related symptoms can be improved or minimized dramatically.  BHRT under the care and supervision of our Physicians provides careful oversight to monitoring progress and health improvements for those individuals being treated.  Physiologic levels never exceed what the individual has already been accustomed to in his or her younger years.
  • Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy has many positive benefits, and must not be mistaken for synthetic hormones.  While synthetic hormones can nearly take over your body with negative and uncomfortable side effects, bio-identical hormones generally cause no negative side effects, only improving or relieving the original cause of discomfort.  The good news for animal lovers is that BHRT is derived from plants such as soy or yam and chemically altered to be identical to human hormones.  That means no animal byproducts or horse urine, the latter of which is used to make the synthetic hormone Premarin®.

Colon Hydrotherapy (Colonic)
Colon Hydrotherapy (Colonic)

Today with modern technology and trained therapists, colonic irrigation is becoming widely accepted as a treatment for disease and promoting well being.  Warm filtered water is gently infused into the colon using low and carefully regulated pressure.  Toxins are removed gently upon the release of gas, mucous and impacted fecal matter.  Thus patients will experience an increased level of energy and relief of many disturbing digestive disorders.  It is also common for patients to drop weight and minimize water retention.

Why Should I Be Concerned About My Colon?

The colon has been referred to as the sewer system of the body. It is the place where we store the waste material that most of us would rather not think about. A healthy colon produces Vitamins B, and K, and absorbs water. A healthy digestive tract helps support a healthy immune system.

Detoxification Programs
Detoxification Programs

Detoxification is a bodily process that either eliminates harmful substances or transforms those harmful substances into less harmful ones.  Our bodies are continually striving to maintain balance, and the organs of detoxification are critical to this balancing act.  Although, some of our systems are more involved in detoxification, every system participates in some way.

  • The Digestive system includes the mouth, stomach, liver, small intestine and colon.  This system processes the foods we eat so that nutrients can be distributed to the whole body.  It must also identify toxins so they can be eliminated.  The surface of the GI tract is 200 times greater than our outer skin so it can be a major entry and exit route for toxins.  The liver is the body’s most critical cleansing organ.  It is being challenged with excessive levels of toxins every day.
  • The Dermal system (skin) is exposed to heavy metals, medications, pesticides, and other synthetic chemicals that enter and exit the body through the skin.  Sebaceous glands of the skin secrete sebum, which helps the body rid itself of fat-soluble toxins.  When detoxification is not efficient in other systems, toxins can exit through the skin causing rashes, acne, and other conditions.
  • The urinary system is made up of the kidneys, bladder, ureters, and urethra.  The bloodstream creates waste products which are excreted through our kidneys.  To do this, the kidneys must distinguish toxins from nutrients as they enter.  Toxins are filtered from the blood and nutrients are returned into the bloodstream.
  • The lymphatic system includes the lymph glands, nodes, and vessels.  Lymphatic fluids travel throughout your body along a network of vessels.  Lymph nodes and organs filter harmful organisms and waste products from lymph fluid.
  • The respirator system includes the lungs, bronchials, throat, sinuses, and nose.  Breathing helps oxygenate the cells, nourishing them to do their individual detoxification task.  Breathing also expels carbon dioxide, a waste product of bodily process.
Even though our bodies are programmed for health, it is possible to overwhelm our body’s ability to maintain balance.  Our organs were not designed to handle the levels of pollutants that we now encounter on a daily basis.  The constant overload of toxins impedes healthy functioning organs, which break’s down the body’s ability to eliminate poisons.  This lays the foundation for chronic and degenerative diseases
