Do you find it difficult to go on vacation and unplug from all technology... without worry?
I confess, I'm addicted to my computer. I love my job and I'm an information junkie! You'll often find me geeking out on the web.
However,
it is important to change your scenery, free up different parts of
yourself, and unplug so can gain fresh perspective on your business and
your life.
In alignment with walking my talk, I unplugged last
week and headed for Burning Man, a festival in Nevada where there is no
cell phone, no internet, no computers.... and my inner diva comes ALIVE.
(That's me rockin the gold gold sequins hot pants, rose tinted glasses
and other sexy silly acoutrements.)
This is my 8th time
attending Burning Man, but this year was different. This year I am a new
mom and going to the desert meant leaving my little baby at home.
This
was sooooo hard! Yet, I needed this. My inner diva needed to express
herself, own her body again since pregnancy and birth, feel sexy, alive,
adventurous. So my husband gave me this gift, to go play in the
desert... and connect with ME.
I returned feeling bright,
sparkly, rejuvenated, young and ready to hold up the diva mirror to my
clients so you can see how powerful you really are!
In today's
feature article, I want to encourage you to find your "gold sequins hot
pants." What I mean is find the thing that frees up the diva in you...
the magnetic, sometimes bold, confident, feminine, sexy, in charge,
successful entrepreneur. It will fuel your confidence, and confidence is client attractive.
