Natural Healthcare For Your Whole Family
Dr. Lorraine Caron, ND provides naturopathic health care to adults and children. Whether you or your child are experiencing symptoms now or you simply want to know how to stay healthy, Dr. Caron can help you. She understands that you are not just a collection of body systems, but a whole being, and that wellness happens in your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self. This holistic vision is what distinguishes naturopathic medicine from the conventional medical system.
Dr. Caron offers natural, effective therapies to restore your body's balance. She will ease you through the nutritional and lifestyle changes that will most benefit you. A typical first visit lasts an hour and a half, and most of that time is spent in listening to you. Dr. Caron is professional, caring, and experienced at providing healthcare that integrates scientific knowledge with the healing power and wisdom of nature.
Naturopathic medicine blends centuries-old natural, non-toxic therapies such as homeopathy, herbal medicine, nutrition, movement, exercise and hydrotherapy with current advances in the study of health and human systems. Naturopathic care covers all aspects of family health from prenatal to geriatric.
Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are the nation's leading experts in natural medicine. In states where naturopathic medicine is regulated, NDs act as family doctors, often serving as primary care providers for insurance companies and general practitioners for families. States which currently regulate naturopathic medicine are: Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington. Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico also license NDs.
Dr. Caron is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND). She is a 2004 graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon, one of five accredited schools in the United States which offer the ND degree. She grew up in Littleton, Colorado, did her undergraduate work at CU Boulder, and now lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband, Taylor, and their three children, Morgan, Riley and Sierra.
