Did you know…average person is exposed to over 123 ingredients every day through daily use of personal care products? What makes this scary is that 90% of these ingredients have not been safety tested by the FDA.

Did you know… according to the Environmental Working Group, many well known brands of children’s personal care products contain one or more potentially cancer causing ingredients?

Did you know… certain ingredients in skin care (even expensive ones) can age you?

Did you know… there is a WARNING on the back of most commercial toothpaste and mouthwash? The warning tells you to contact Poison Control Center if you swallow more than used for brushing!

Did you know… a common ingredient in most cosmetics has been found in breast cancer tissue, as reported by Environmental WorkingGroup studies?

Did you know… the skin is the largest organ in the body and capable of absorbing any substance into the blood stream? Many drugs are delivered into the body this way, such as pain medication, birth control pills, and tobacco cessation. So are potentially toxic ingredients in your personal care products, such as deodorants, body lotions, etc.

Did you know… under the tongue is the fastest route of absorption in the body? Toothpaste and mouthwash that contain potentially toxic ingredients such as alcohol or detergents (sodium lauryl sulfate), artificial sweeteners, and drugs will be absorbed through bleeding gums and enter the blood stream.

Did you know… the skin is like a sponge, and permeable? Some ingredients when used frequently, can eventually lead to allergies.

Did you know… just because it’s natural, doesn’t mean it’s good for you? Most “natural” plants and crops are sprayed with pesticides, may have drug-like side effects may be genetically modified?

Did you know… cosmetics are the least regulated products under the Federal Food & Drug (FDA) and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA)? Only 11% of over 10,000 ingredients have been assessed for safety.
