Homeopathy has had a great track record for flu epidemics in the past.
For example in the great flu epidemic of 1918 those treated by
homeopathic physicians had a mortality rate of 1.05% while the
mortality rate of people treated with traditional drugs was 30% to 60%.
Of the fifteen hundred cases reported at the Homeopathic Medical
Society of the District of Columbia there were only fifteen deaths.
Recoveries in the National Homeopathic Hospital were 100%. Dr. T. A.
McCann, MD, Dayton, Ohio reported that of 1,000 cases of influenza in
Ohio there were no deaths. It is now thought that the deaths that did
occur were from a secondary streptococcal pneumonia infection that was
