Many don't know that chiropractic care is beneficial for children, or even if it could possibly be safe to do so.
Fair enough, it's hard to be educated about everything in todays society, there are many issues that each of us hold to be valuable and pertinent (or not) in our personal lives.
Well, it's as safe and as easy as a handshake.
A handshake is different, unique, and modified whether its between men, a man and a woman, or an adult and a child. The same is true for a chiropractic adjustment given for the various sizes, shapes and needs of adults or children. It's modified appropriately and is just as safe.
Now the question of why would a child need or get an adjustment. Hmmmm. Well, because they've got a spine. Why do they need to take care of their teeth? Because they're there. Same with the spine and joints of a child.
Why wait until they are an adult, suffering from pain, joint deterioration and nerve interference when that could have been prevented or minimized?
"They don't complain of pain, and they're so resilient".
Sure, but have you ever noticed how many kids get cavities but they never had any pain? I've seen it. Should the parent have waited until the tooth was painful? (Gee, I should be writing for a dentist.) Well hopefully you get the idea.
But most of all, it's safe. I've adjusted mine since they were an hour old. Not randomly, just the specific location that could use the smallest of tune-ups to restore mobility after childbirth. And chiropractic liability insurance is about the same as your auto insurance - the least of any health professional.
Were your children born? If so, they could benefit from chiropractic care. Why? Because they have a spine.
