Peter Behel, Biofeedback Specialist, 25 Years Experience
- Peter Behel MA is a biofeedback specialist who for the past 25 years has practiced in several different clinical settings and hospital-based programs. He is currently on staff at St. Helena Hospital's pain management program, and is also a member of a physical therapy-based rehabilitation team in Mill Valley.
- A former President of the Biofeedback Society of California (1992), Peter has also successfully treated animators from both Pixar and Industrial Light and Magic who were suffering from repetitive strain injuries (RSI), tendonitis, inflammation, and thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), in addition to dystonia.
- In addition to previously performing neurofeedback (brainwave biofeedback) for attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity and epilepsy in Marin, Peter has also provided stress management and biofeedback services at the former Community Psychiatric Hospital in Santa Rosa. Peter began his career using biofeedback as an aid in vision development in Novato back in 1980, which is when he was also a part-time biofeedback instructor at Sonoma State University.
