Fay Putnam: Teacher of The Alexander Technique and the Art of Breathing Coordination
Fay Putnam is an Alexander Technique teacher trained in the tradition established by F.M. Alexander and is certified by the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT). Her teacher trainers were Giora Pinkas and John Baron at The Alexander Educational Center (TAEC), Berkeley, California. Both Giora Pinkas and John Baron are Alexander Teachers of International status.
Fay has post graduate training in Breathing Coordination and the Alexander Technique with Jessica Wolf (theartofbreathing.org).
A graduate of Ithaca College, she has also studied voice at Peabody Conservatory, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Westminster Choir College, and Virginia Commonwealth University. In demand as a professional chamber musician and teacher, she maintains a private studio for the study of the Alexander Technique, Breathing coordination and Voice.
