As we progress on in this journey of being a student of the Alexander Technique of Mental and Body Awareness training we become firstly, AWARE of our reaction to challenges which are preventing us from accomplishing what we wish. How does this help with stress reduction. Perhaps we have taken on too many tasks. As stress builds we learn to STOP, ask why we are stressed. In just that one moment of PAUSING we have a moment in which we can insert a new CHOICE of how we are reacting. The Alexander Technique is about learning Conscious Control of the Individual, about taking charge of our lives.
