Laying on of hands, healing touch, Reiki, Herbal Healing, anointing with oils are all forms of healing from the past.  There are so many modern misconceptions, fears, negative thoughts about this ancient art.  Laying on of hands dates back to biblical times, the bible teaches us that Christ would lay his hands on a person and they were healed. Christ sent his disciples out with oils to anoint those in need of healing in the name of the Father.  His teaching, and that of the twelve disciples considered healing body, spirit, and soul as one unified process. Yet today many consider this healing art voodoo or new age.  Touching a sick person was not a sin, offering comfort and prayer in the name of the father was common, anointing with oil when illness is present was a natural method, using the plants as God has given was healing.

Science has proven that without touch one suffers greatly, they showed that when a baby monkey had no contact at all with another monkey or a human surrogate it could not live.  We have become a society of fear, steering clear of anything Spiritual, Holy or Christ like and in order to justify our beliefs we then criticize others who believe in the power of God in today's world and the power of miracles.  In my experience I have also found several Churches in my area that shun me when I mention the possibility of holding a Meditation class at the church.  They seem to overlook the stories in the bible that clearly tell us that Christ and his disciples would go to the mountain to meditate.  Meditation is not shutting God out, in fact it is way to become closer to God, learn to listen to his answers, find peace in knowing he is with us always.

In my own family I have been told that Essential Oils and Herbs are evil yet these were the healing modalities of biblical times.  Somewhere along the way we have lost our way, we have since become to believe that healing, anointing, laying on of hands, essential oils and herbs, miracles from God are a thing of the past.  Our churches today don't seem to want to believe that all that was given in the day of Christ can also be given today.  My Grandfather was so afraid to move from Phoenix Arizona to a small town because he would not have his doctors, a proclaimed devout Christian.  The only thing I would ask then is "Do you believe in God?"  Why then would you not believe that God will be with you in your small town.  See we have put our faith in Doctors and man made medicine and lost our faith in the healing Power of God.  I believe that God gives the Doctor his ability to learn and commit to memory everything he knows, I do not believe the Doctor can heal only God can.
 
From God's Healing Word:

"Scientific research has demonstrated that essential oils are terminators of disease-causing micro-organisms. They are so deadly that they can destroy them by proximity alone. (This is due to the oil's volatility) Such notorious characters as staphylococcus, pneumococcus, meningococcus, hemolytic streptococcus, typhus bacillus, diphtheric bacillus, anthrax bacillus, Koch's bacillus, and many kinds of mold, have all been tested against and found subject to specific essential oils. "

One problem is society has become accustomed to the "instant" "now" belief.  If we don't have instant relief, instant health, or instant anything we find it takes to much of our time.  By simply using Essential Oils on a daily basis by massage, anointing, perfume or simply to help us to relax while in meditation or in a stressful situation we are following the guidelines God has layed out for us.  Using plants for healing as stated in Ezekiel to me means daily supplements that help our bodies to fight off disease and sickness by helping our bodies to remain healthy.  I am not saying that we may not need a Doctor, I am saying that if you do simple things and follow God's Hygienic Laws, use the plants and oils he has put here, meditate to become closer to him you then help your body to heal before disease sets in.
 
Disease and ailments will forever be with us. But ours is not a destiny of pain and suffering unless we remain ignorant of God's blessing. The world is the recipient of a wonderful gift—the gift of healing and health God placed in the plant kingdom. Jesus understood this fact full well, which is why He taught His disciples to use essential oil in their healing ministry.

Here at Sacred Earth Aromatics we teach a class on Healing Oils of the Bible, I am a Christian Reiki Master as I believe that only God can heal and my practice is to pray, ask God for his blessing and offer healing touch, we anoint with oils in our Spiritual Aromatherapy Ceremonies asking God's blessing for all that we do and seek.  I have faith that assures me that all is God's will and God's will be done.  If it is meant for a person to heal whether it is considered a miracle by medical standards or not it will be done.  We overlook the small things God gives us everyday of our lives, when we wake up breathing we should Thank God for another day, when a check arrives in the mail we were not expecting we owe thanks for God knew we needed the extra money.  Our herbal hours are to help you to understand the herbal supplements and how they can assist you in keeping your body healthy, through Life Coaching we teach ways to practice God's Hygienic laws learning how to live in balance.  Our Meditation classes focus on learning how to quiet the mind and allow God to speak to us drawing closer to him, allowing the love to give us peace that he has for us all.  Our goal is to teach you how to maintain health using many modalities, offering simple solutions to simple problems, helping you to eliminate brain chatter that causes stress a root cause of disease.
