Using crystals in your meditation can deepen your relaxation and enhance your experience. It is a wonderful way to unwind after a hectic day. It is important to shut off your phone, television and anything else that can distract you before you begin. It is also nice to have some soft relaxing music in the background.
Choose your crystal and hold it in your hands noticing how it feels and be aware of any sensations you may experience. Notice any feelings that come up whether it is physical, emotional, spiritual or mental. Take slow deep breaths. Continue this for 10 or 15 minutes or longer if you have the time. Do this practice daily even if it is only for a few minutes.
You may begin to notice you feel different each time you do it even if you use the same crystal each time. It is not necessary to use the same crystal though, choose the one you are intuitively drawn to. Some meditations will leave you feeling energized, some may leave you deeply relaxed, calm and peaceful. Feelings of agitation or sadness may also arise. Embrace these feelings without judgement, they are perfectly acceptable. Whatever it is you experience, keep in mind, no two meditations are ever alike.
