Yesterday I searched the past health care suggestions for President-elect Obama.
I was surprised to find virtually few alt med suggestions, and in fact the number one suggestion that appeared when I did a search for alternative health was an anti-alt med - disband the nccam! It got tons of votes!
Recent studies show 40% of the country is using alt med.
Bottom line - if we want alt med to be recognized, we have to get involved - get our voice heard.
Now President Obama (ok in another 1.5 hours he'll be president) is again offering to listen.
