Publisher's Weekly, one of the publishing industry's most respected book review journal, recently wrote an article how there is a groundswell of readers seeking true spiritual knowledge as evidenced by the significant rise in spiritual/religious book sales (my Bhagavad Gita for Modern Times was included in their review).
World-wide, the people are speaking, 'we've tried everything commercially available; eastern & western, holistic and allopathic, yoga & meditation, and still, there is something missing in our core.' The irony is that spiritual connection is the master key to health & peace.

Do you want to find greater spiritual connection (however you define 'spiritual')?
Would you like to help your clients re-connect to their spiritual center?
This Bhagavad Gita introduction to spirituality addresses this core spiritual connection.

For the past few decades students have been asking me to write a Gita, to which I always responded, that there were hundreds if not thousands of translations available. It is always best to contribute by filling a void or need rather. However, in 2006, one student shyly admitted to me that after a many years and many versions, he still didn't understand the Gita. "How does it relate to my life? How does it relate to my Christian religion?", he asked.

For the first I realized there was a need for such a commentary. Yet still not convinced an entire book was needed, I agreed to write a short few pages to explain to folks how to begin to think about Gita as it relates to their own lives. Well, I started to write the page, and about 20 pages later I saw that I have written the entire Chapter 2 of the book. Maybe there is a book here afterall. So I tried to write a bit more, and you know, the whole book came out effortlessly.

Since then many folks have been echoing what the other student had said about they're not understanding Gita, until they read my commentary. So I feel I have in some small way contributed to the understanding of Gita so folks can apply it to their lives today and find more peace and inner joy.

We celebrate 25 Years of Service this year.  25 Years of healing our friends and clients, and teaching others to learn and do the same.

Ayurvedic healing has a rich history and has and will continue to make a lasting contribution as a gift to mankind.  I come from a long line of Ayurvedic Teachers.  My lineage really goes back centuries and I feel so fortunate to continue these traditions in my work, today.

As our Ayurveda Holisitic Community marks and celebrates these traditions and 25 Years of Service, we also are making plans for the future - to expand the scope of our practice and courses and training and contribution - yet not really change a thing along the way.

Growth and expanding your sphere of influence so more and more can connect with the benefits of this amazing form of health and wellness certainly has its challenges but also its rewards.  If you are a holistic practitioner and would like to learn more about what the Community offers, we look forward to hearing from you and helping you identify how we may work together and mutually transfer our technologies to each other so more can benefit and attain their wellness and spiritual goals.

25 years of Service.  2500 Years In the Making....

As we approach the end of the year, the Ayurveda Holistic Community is busy making plans for 2009.  We're gearing up for the new year's travel to India, Europe, & Scandanavia. Every year at this time we ask out past students to reconnect and tell us how they are doing and to make suggestions about the courses, training and skills they feel they need now in order to take their work and lives to the next level.

    Calling all Students!!!
Hello friends!  Hope you're living your peace & paradise and your work is fulfilling.
    * What courses would help you today?
    * What training could change your business and help you help more people?
    * What new skills would you like to achieve?
    * What training would you like to provide others?
    * What new purposes have you found you would like to share?
    * What role can Ayurveda Holistic Community play in your work right now?

As we are now in planning mode for 2009, I would love to hear from you and hear what is new and what you would find helpful to your work and life.  I especially would like to hear about your interest in teaching fellow students so they can benefit from your experience.
