Christie Johnson is an Internationally Certified Alexander Technique Teacher, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, Trainer and Human Efficiency Specialist – focused on maximizing motion while minimizing impact to optimize balance, coordination, support, stability, flexibility and poise in performance.
Christie holds teaching credentials from Grand Valley State University, in Michigan as her foundation. After the Alexander Technique resolved two and a half years of her chronic sciatic pain in just two weeks, Christie decided to change careers and went on to complete an extensive three-year, post bachelor, training through Alexander Technique International. She has traveled nationally and internationally for additional training and teaching.
Teaching people to discover their unique patterns of thinking and moving in relation to all that they do is Christie’s passion. She has developed Alexander Technique workshops for Loma Linda Veterans Groups, Riding Clubs, Better Breather Groups, Fibromyalgia Support Groups, Hair Salons, Dentist Offices, Trauma Intervention Programs, Babies R Us, MSJC, Cal State Pomona, RCC, The San Diego Flute Guild, The Music Teachers National Association, The California Association of Professional Music Teachers and more…
Christie helps executives and performers mitigate stage fright, seniors and surfers improve balance, riders and runners release muscle tension, and gardeners and golfers improve range of motion. Via marathons, yoga, biking, hiking, swimming, golfing and endurance training, Christie is consistently practicing her form, function and flow and looks forward to helping you with yours too.
