Many Essential Oils repel virus, bacteria, and other microbes.

What Are Essential Oils? Essential oils are the subtle, aromatic and volatile liquids extracted from the flowers, seeds, leaves, stems, bark and roots of herbs, bushes, shrubs, and trees, through distillation. The chemistry of essential oils is very complex: each one may consist of hundreds of different and unique chemical compounds. Moreover, essential oils are highly concentrated and far more potent than dried herbs. The distillation process is what makes essential oils so concentrated. It often requires an entire plant or more to produce a single drop of distilled essential oil. Essential oils are also different from vegetable oils such as corn oil, peanut oil, and olive oil. They are not greasy and do not clog the pores like many vegetable oils can. Vegetable oils can become oxidized and rancid over time and are not antibacterial. Most essential oils, on the other hand, cannot go rancid and are powerful antimicrobials. Pressed oils and essential oils high in plant waxes such as patchouli, if not distilled properly, could go rancid after time, particularly if exposed to heat for extended periods of time. Essential oils are substances that definitely deserve the respect of proper education.

According to ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics and Chinese manuscripts, priests and physicians were using essential oils thousands of years before Christ to heal the sick. They are the oldest form of remedies and cosmetics known to man and were considered more valuable than gold. There are 188 references to oils in the Bible. Science is only now beginning to investigate the incredible healing properties of essential oils.

The Properties of Essential Oils

Pure Essential Oils Have Very High Frequency. The effectiveness of Essential Oils cannot be fully understood without some discussion of frequency. Frequency is the measurable rate of electrical energy flow that is constant between any two points. Everything has frequency. In his book The Body Electric, Dr. Robert O. Becker establishes that the human body has an electrical frequency and that much about a person's health can be determined by the person's frequency.

In 1992, Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology, an independent division of Eastern State University in Cheney, Washington, built the first frequency monitor in the world. Tainio determined that the average frequency of the human body during the daytime is 62 to 68 MHz. (A healthy body frequency is (62 - 72 MHz.) When the frequency drops, the immune system is compromised.

If the frequency drops to 58 MHz, cold and flu symptoms appear. At 55 MHz, diseases like Candida take hold; at 52 MHz, Epstein-Barr and at 42 MHz, Cancer.

According to Dr. Royal R. Rife, every disease has a frequency. He found that certain frequencies can prevent the development of disease and that others would destroy disease. Substances with higher frequency will destroy diseases of lower frequency. The study of frequencies raises an important question about the frequencies of the substances we eat, breathe, and absorb. Many pollutants lower healthy frequency. Processed/canned food has a frequency of ZERO!! The frequency of fresh produce is only 15 MHz, dry herbs from 12 to 22 MHz and fresh herbs from 20 to 27 MHz. Essential Oils start at 52 MHz and go as high as 320 MHz, which is the frequency if rose oil.

The raindrop technique involves the amazing power of essential oils, mixed with a variety of massage techniques including back massage, vita flex massage and heat application. The technique is designed to bring the body back into structural and electrical alignment. Often many types of spinal problems and misalignments are caused by toxins that lie dormant within the spine. The use of essential oils helps to dispose of these viruses within the spine, helping its structure return to normal. The raindrop technique can be used as a tool to provide a healthy balance to the body. Essential oils also stimulate the nerves and the re-growth of tissue.

Just like how blood gives our body life, essential oils are the life of plants. They can have healing effects on the body, especially the ones that are specifically chosen for this technique. When applied to the body, the oils are absorbed into the skin and travel down through the dermis levels into the interstitial fluids. They are helpful in fighting bacteria and viruses that travel through the body. Essential oils have also been known to improve the immune system.

During the raindrop technique, the oils are dropped onto the client’s body from approximately six inches above the spine. This technique is used so that there is no interference by the therapist between the initial reaction of the oils energy and the client’s energy. The process uses a total of seven essential oils and two blends of other therapeutic oils that are the choice of the client. The essential oils used are Oregano (battles viruses), Thyme (anti-viral), Birch (bone repair), Basil (muscle relaxant), Peppermint (topical analgesic), Valor (for spinal alignment and muscle problems), and Marjoram (anti-spasmodic).

Once the oils are dropped onto the body, the therapist applies a massage technique called vita flex which enhances the benefits of the essential oils. This massage technique means “vitality through the reflexes,” and it involves a rolling and releasing motion of the fingertips to massage the reflex points of the body. Once this happens, the reflex points release an electrical charge through the body that travels along the nerve pathway until it meets a break in the path caused by damage or toxins. This massage technique is used on the feet and along the spine for nerve stimulation and to respond to the oils.

The entire process takes about 60 minutes to complete.

The raindrop technique can have many benefits since it is a detoxifying process. It helps rid of any toxins or bacteria that are deep within the body and provides a boost to the immune system. It is used to help realign the spine, reduces stress, and relieves back pain and tension. The technique is highly relaxing and it is recommended that you take the rest of the day off just to relax your body and slowly ease it back into the real world. Also, for people with sensitive skin the oils may cause some reddening or excessive warming of the skin, but this can be relieved quickly and the benefits of the raindrop technique will be well worth it.

Therapeutic-grade essential oils stimulate (or 'wake-up') your body's natural healing response. Because they are so multi-faceted and complex, they connect with your body's innate intelligence. Their holistic action encourages your body to heal not only on the physical level, but the mental, emotional, and spiritual levels as well.

In fact, therapeutic-grade essential oils:

• Are antiseptic (topical use only).

• Are immune enhancing.

• Are high in antioxidants.

• Are highly oxygenating. The oxygen molecules they contain help transport nutrients to starving human cells. And because a nutritional deficiency is an oxygen deficiency, disease begins when cells lack sufficient oxygen for proper nutrient assimilation. By providing the needed oxygen, essential oils also work to stimulate the immune system.

• Are lipid soluble. They're capable of penetrating cell walls, even if they have hardened because of an oxygen deficiency. In fact, essential oils can affect every cell of the body within 20 minutes and are then metabolized like other nutrients.

• Have the ability to pass through the blood-brain barrier. Because they contain sesquiterpenes they oxygenate and nourish the brain.

• Have a bio-electrical frequency that is several times greater than the frequency of herbs, food, and even the human body. Clinical research has shown that essential oils can quickly raise the frequency of the human body, restoring it to its normal, healthy level.
(According to the Essential Oils Desk Reference, Essential Science Publishing)

Raindrop Technique can do all this for you — and more. It's a wonderful way to nourish, oxygenate, and raise the frequency of your tissues, your musculo-skeletal system, your cells, your nerves, your organs and your whole body!

Try Raindrop Technique, a powerful method to help restore balance and good health in your body.

When we teach or do raindrop technique we normally advise receivers not to shower till the next day in order for the oils to continue their work. The question has been asked as to why we do this since essential oil molecules are readily absorbed through the skin. Hence, it would seem that within a short time, they would all have been internalized and no longer on the skin surface. If they are no longer on the skin surface, then why would it matter if one showered or bathed or not? That is a very good question, and a thoughtful one, too.

The truth is that when one receives raindrop, not all of the oils applied are aromatic or essential. There is a variety of vegetable and nut oils also applied which are not aromatic and not entirely absorbed. Among the fatty oils used in raindrop are those contained in Valor, Ortho Ease, and V-6.

The oil blend of Valor is composed principally of the essential oils of spruce, rosewood, blue tansy, and frankincense, but also contains the fatty oil of almond.

Ortho Ease contains a variety of essential oils, which are absorbed through the skin, but its principal constituents are fatty oils of coconut, grape, almond, and wheat germ.

Another YLEO oil often applied during raindrop is V-6, which is composed completely
of fatty oils.

When fatty oils are combined with or layered over essential oils, the rate of absorption of the aromatic oils is considerably slowed down. Hence, it may take 12 hours or more for all of the oil molecules to find their way into the body. This is the main reason for recommending that clients wait over-night before showering.

There is another reason for waiting to shower. Only part of the magic of raindrop has to do the absorption of therapeutically active molecules through the skin. The other part is inhaling them. Inhalation allows healing molecules to enter the blood stream through the lungs and to pass directly through the olfactory organs across the blood-brain barrier. Thus, raindrop addresses all of the systems of our bodies via several routes.

Due to the layering and mixing of fatty oils with the aromatic ones during raindrop, the fragrances linger for a good 12 hours or more, which continue to administer healing to the receiver via the nostrils throughout this time, as well as through the skin. You don't want to wash this off until it has all of the tiny therapeutic molecules have been absorbed. To bathe too soon will wash away and reduce some of the therapeutic benefit and potential effectiveness of the raindrop received.

Now you know why we don't wash after a raindrop.
