Lori L. Malkoff, MD, MPH

Dr. Lori L. Malkoff, MD attended the University of California at Irvine, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in 1980 with cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. She completed her Medical Degree at UC Irvine, earned a Master of Public Health degree at SDSU, and completed post-graduate training in Family Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Malkoff has been in private practice for 23 years.

Lori L. Malkoff, MD has taken additional post-doctoral training in the fields of physical medicine, rehabilitation, neuroscience, psychology, and nutrition. She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Instructor, and is one of less than 10 Medical Doctors in the U.S. to be trained and certified as a Feldenkrais Teacher and Practitioner. Specializing in chronic pain management and providing chronic pain relief for seniors, athletes, and others, Dr. Lori Malkoff owns and operates The Feldenkrais Center of San Diego in Encinitas CA.

Lori Malkoff, MD has pursued a lifetime commitment to health and fitness. As a San Diego youth, she was an age-group swimming and golf champion. While attending undergraduate and medical schools in Irvine, she was a nationally ranked athlete in swimming, water polo, and surfing. A sponsored professional athlete since 1989, Malkoff continues to train and compete regularly in her hometown of Encinitas, CA.
