A note from Tully: Why Alexander Technique?
I was first attracted to the Technique's wonderful ideas and possibilities for personal growth, by attending a workshop and devouring books about it.I was lucky enough to start taking Alexander lessons before my tension habits started to cause me significant pain. It transformed the way I look at our behavior and the choices we make, as it transformed my overall coordination. Soon after my training I found myself hiking effortlessly up a mountain with an ease my former aerobics career had never afforded me! Since then I've been lucky enough to teach in many situations where I can use my musical experience to help performers find their own clear and open channels for communication and expression. I also love the variety of working with people from all walks of life.
