It’s that time of year when many people are being challenged to ward off or regain wellness from this lovely little buggy. The fear of being sick only increases the odds, as the immune system directly mirrors the emotions. When too much stress hits, things tend to crash and the next day... voila... a cold or flu lands.
For those of you who utilize the essential oils, the following excerpt from the Essential Oil Desk Reference may be of interest. If your immune system is feeling taxed, essential oils are readily available for personal home use. (The following uses are for therapeutic grade oils only, not the grades available at most natural foods or bath shops.)

FIRST RECOMMENDATIONS: Ravensara, ImmuPro (capsules)
SINGLE OILS: Blue cypress, mountain savory, oregano, Eucalyptus radiata, clove, myrtle, peppermint, melaleuca alternifolia
BLENDS: ImmuPower, Di-Gize, Exodus II, Thieves, Inner Defense (capsules) ParaFree (capsules), Essentialzyme, Polyzyme
EO Applications:
INGESTION: RICE MILK, 2-4 times daily, CAPSULE, 00 size, 1 capsule 3 times daily
INHALATION: DIRECT, 2-4 times daily
TOPICAL:DILUTE 50-50, 2-4 drops on chest, stomach or lower back, as needed, 2- times daily.
RAINDROP Technique, 1-2 times weekly
COMPRESS, warm, over lower abdomen, 1-2 times daily
BATH SALTS:
Influenza Recipe for bath
• 2 drops Eucalyptus radiata
• 6 drops frankincense
• 3 drops helichrysum
• 6 drops spruce
• 15 drops ravensara
• 1 drop wintergreen or birch
Stir above essential oils thoroughly into 1/4 cup Epsom salt or baking soda, then add salt/oil mixture to hot bath water while tub is filling. Soak in hot bath until water cools.
