We wanted to let all of our wonderful supporters know that we are in need of volunteers that are interested in contributing to our mission.
21st Annual 2009 Chinese New Year Festival
When: Sunday, February 8, 2009, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Zen Village has a table at this event and we need 3, ideally 6, people who would like to attend this event and spend some of your time there helping us to share Zen Village with the attendees by handing out books and brochures, answering questions and possibly selling gift shop items.
This cultural festival celebrates the beginning of the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Ox. As part of the festivities, we will have 2 variety stage shows featuring the highest quality of Chinese entertainment including the Wing Lun Tai Chi Lion and Dragon dance, Magic Dragon Acrobats, Matzurzia Taiko Drummers, Jinglu Cao, Jessica Yap, cultural costumes, music, and dance. The shows will being at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
In addition, there will be a wide variety of Asian foods, arts and craft, and exhibits available.
Adults: $10.00 Children (under 12): $5.00 and Children Under 5: Free.... Parking: Free
A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research, National Kidney Foundation of Florida, and Save Our Sisters (for breast cancer research)
The festival is presented by The Chinese Cultural Foundation, Inc., in cooperation with the Chinese Cultural Association, Inc., the Organization of Chinese Americans - South Florida, and the Chinese Association of Science, Engineering, and Culture, Inc.
