I love to have fun, and teach people to express their fun side on a regular basis. The benefits of this are astounding in terms of creating a life that is filled with joy and happiness. Hopping, skipping and doing cartwheels can be the norm.
Just think we are born with imagination, fun, laughter and play. And as we grow up, we play a little game of hide-n-seek, and we hide from these innate gifts because we're adults, and we think we're not supposed to do these things any longer. Oh, wrongo! These gifts are ours for a reason, and our lives work best when we come out from hiding and seek these out.
All About Me
WHEW! Glad you're interested in knowing who I am.
Come and listen to a story about a girl named Tami. This lead-in will give you some insight of who I am and what I'm like as a person. I love to laugh. If you ask someone what gifts I have, they would say that I have a great sense of humor, strong communication skills, empathetic listener and have an aura of joy that people can't get enough of. At age 6, I used to hula hoop for the grocery store customers, and loved every minute of it. This natural entertainer has really played a key role in my life.
First, let me take you on a journey to show you how I came to have a knowing about health…
My granddad and dad were both massage therapists in the 1950's and 60's. You can imagine what this was like for me to have these two men believe in authentic, what you might call alternative, medicine and blaze a trail for massage therapy.
My dad had his practice in an office in our house, thus, I grew up experiencing regular massages and stream baths, and also getting to know the Native American culture as my dad had a friend, Sundance, who was a regular in his office. Sundance regularly showed up at the office to give his intuitive soul readings.
Having this experience and coming by healing naturally, gave me this inner knowing that I, too, was going to continue to forge a path dedicated to healing. I just do it in a different way because I know the importance of clearing the "stuff" from our past and focusing only on the present moment.
Now, the reason I know about the importance of "stuff" removal is I was very ill in 1996 to the point that I was bedridden. I had just graduated from college at the young age of 41, and my world came crashing in. There's a beautiful quote from an author (can't remember his name): The Longest Journey is the Journey Inward.
So inward I went to find my answers. To make a long story short, I heard a strong message (after I removed the fingers out of my ears) from God that I was going on a ride to discover me. I had brought on this illness, this experience, as I hadn't been paying attention to my life, hadn't been living consciously. Thus, it became apparent that I intended this experience so that I really "got" it.
Finally, I shouted, "Okay, okay, I get it. Uncle!" And through all of this, I discovered the unique me who is joyful, who is laughter, who is Infinite.
And now, I intend to help others learn from my experience….
My greatest accomplishment is the discovery of me, and here are some other ones too:
