Whew!  It can be very interesting to love what is in the moment, even when that person or that situation is presenting something different.  Yet, it's really a quest of mine to do this.

As I'm embarking on this journey to embrace the moment and love what is, it is presenting some emotions tied to letting go.  Yet, it is my ego that is not wanting this to happen, and thus is exhibiting all sorts of stuff.

I would liken it to a child throwing a temper tantrum in not getting his or her way :).  I mean, really when you think about it, a child throws a temper tantrum because it needs attention.  And the ego is similar.

For you see, the ego seeks its identity in drama and loves the existence of past and future.  With this said, you could see where the ego would create all sorts of temper tantrums as it is feeling the loss of its identity.  I guess you could describe it as identity theft, and it's trying to prevent this at all costs.

When we surrender to what is and allow it to be what it is and love it, then it's acceptance.  When we accept, then we allow the energy to move through us and dissipate into loving recycled energy.  The ego doesn't like acceptance because that is peace, and an egoic attachment doesn't like peace.

Doesn't it sound beautiful to love what is?  Then it takes all the edge off of wanting anything different than what is currently happening in our experience.

It is truly an art form, an energy, that is painting the existence of being vulnerable.  When we're open to only this moment and being vulnerable to the mystery of life, then the energy can calm itself.

So when you're living in the moment, and feeling whatever it is that comes up, you don't have to suppress anything because you're acknowledging, accepting, loving, not judging, not resisting, not attaching to anything but this moment.  It is the life force of all life forces, and truly the love of your life.

Have you ever awakened in the middle of the night with worry?  Your whole body feels it, and this emotion acts as if you are dying.  You may sweat and have heart palpitations, and it appears very real.   It's the ultimate Yikeorama :).

You know, I used to wet the bed when I was in grade school.  What I've learned is that my body was experiencing a lot of emotion, and it just happened to release it in this way.  It wasn't always funny for my sister, who just happened to share a bed with me.  Yet I can think of no better way to pay her back for all the mean thngs she did :).

When you think about wetting your bed in this way, worry does tend to expel itself all over the place in your bed.  If you had a special camera that would be able to capture all the fireworks going on, I'm sure it would display a real "soaking and drenching" of emotion.

I do have a technique you can use, and one you already aware of.....

When you awaken and the emotion of worry is there, allow it to be and just breathe with it.  Worry wants to express itself, and by allowing it to do so, and becoming one with it, it will expel itself through a natural process.  And pretty soon, the worry has been transformed into peace.

Breathing into whatever emotion is there is the most loving thing you can do.  Our ego will want us to hide from our feelings because it wants to protect us.  Why do you think there are multiple personalities?  Simply put, they are subpersonalities utilized for protection.

Do you know how many times I have abided by my ego and not felt whatever I was feeling?  Well, where do these feelings go that aren't expressed?  As stored emotions just waiting for an opportunity to arise.

I now am fully expressing whatever I feel, and when I wake up and am feeling worried, I just breathe and become one with it.  Really, it's so awesome as when you become one with something, it loses all its "perceived" credibility.

If you would like some assistance with creating oneness in your life, please contact me and mention altmd.  You'll get the "wet your bed with worry" discount :).

You've probably had this experience before where you've held a seat, a space, for someone as he or she is very important to you, and thus, you wanted him or her to join in the experience with you.

Now, what does it mean to hold a space for someone?

It means that you're reserving it, and that no one else can take that space.  With this said, what if you could do this in every moment, and I'll tell you what I mean.

Your higher self, your God self, your Spirit longs to come through you in the expansion of the Universe.  Thus, when you are across from someone in a conversation, it wants to be exposed in love.

When you are with someone in conversation, then you're holding a space for whatever is to unfold to come through.  As Eckhart Tolle describes, we are nothing but space and so is everything else.  When you think of it in these terms, then you are space providing space for love to come through.

Let me give you an example with a humorous twist....

I live with my boyfriend, and he is very expressive when something is bothering him.  Having said this, he will want to engage in conversation discussing the emotion he is feeling.  I, on the other hand, am not expressive in this way, and will tend to spend time in solitude with the perceived "negative" emotion.

When my boyfriend has done this, I have judged and thought, "OMG, when is he going to stop discussing it.  He's driving me crazy."  This scenario is not Spirit communicating, it's my ego and definitely having fun at my expense.

My awareness of this has helped me to create a different space.  Now, I will draw an imaginary circle, a space of awareness, and allow him to say what he needs to say to go in the circle without adding anything, including judgment and resistance.  In this way, I don't allow the energy to penetrate my being and have to do anything with it, but love the space of awareness.   Allowing this experience has taught me that what is inside of him is also in me.  Thus, allowing the energy to go where it needs to go has been very freeing.

As my daughter will say when she is expressing herself. "Mom, I just need you to listen.  I don't want any advice."  No matter how many times we have a conversation, she still reminds me what is needed.  And the circle of awareness gets drawn for this experience.

Being consciously aware is the way to expand into who you really are, and being on this journey with you is wonderful.  I love space, and the more I can be consciously aware of this, the more my life will be living from the essence and formlessness.  And you will too!

Do you remember the song, From This Moment, by Shania Twain?  It's usually played at weddings to symbolize the importance of loving your partner.

I would like to look at this song title, but from a different perspective.  It means to embrace this moment in the state of union that can only exist in this moment between you and your Source Energy.  Your partnership with another person in your life is secondary.

From this moment, I will always love you, which means in this moment, I will embrace it in its loving essence.  This moment only exists because of us, and thus, when we embrace it, we are basking in the love for ourselves and accepting who we are.

Oh, can this be perplexing because our mind can be all over the place, and it does take practice living in this moment.  It's a practice that must be taken if we are truly walk in our own essence.  There can be none other than this moment, and it can be hard to believe that this is all that exists right now.

Have you ever wanted to throw this moment away, and run from it?  I have, and I still do.  When I'm thinking about something and judging it, I'm making this moment as an enemy, and my whole being is feeling it...and off she goes in her marathon shorts :).

As Eckhart Tolle says, "We usually put this moment in one of three categories:  as an enemy, as a means to an end, as an obstacle."  When I read this, I could really see myself in all three.  What a way to live right?

You know, as a fun coach, I teach people how to create more fun in their lives, and it is to embrace each moment and allow it to include more fun.  With this said, I love having fun, and when I'm thinking about the past or the future, then it's an awareness to shift, and be fun right now by laughing, coloring, looking at clouds, sitting by the water, going for a hike, etc.

So from this moment, you embrace its loveability because it is YOU in this moment and can't be otherwise.  We sure can want to run from this moment, but then we would be running from ourselves because we can't be separate from this moment.  Makes sense, right?

Be kind to yourself and be "whole," not separate, so no fragments get displaced in the Universe.  I would hate to see parts of you all over the place :).

I've often pondered the word "surrender," but only by word only, not by experiencing it.  Well, that has changed.  In the last two weeks, I've decided to fully experience this word that means God to me, and my awareness of everything is changing.

You know, it's a scary journey to completely surrender because our mind, our ego, wants to hang on because it's comfortable.  But when we truly embrace all there is, and let it be without any attachment, judgment or resistance, it will bring up some really uncomfortable feelings, and I'm feeling it and being with it.  It's all just a simple energy that longs for love, and believe me, I'm learning to love everything that comes in....yikes!

Do you remember the song, Let It Be, by Paul McCartney?  He sings of his mother, Mary, coming to him and speaking words of wisdom...let it be.  There will be an answer, let it be.  This was a time when Paul was going through some challenges and the words flowed through him to help comfort.

Our answers are always within, and they come from a place not of this world.  This nonphysical presence within us is our guide, and longs to communicate its wisdom at every moment.  We just need to be still and listen, and that's where the challenge can come in.

Why is this challenging?

Because our minds are filled with egoic attachments that tell us we cannot let things go.  I mean who would we be if we just allowed things to be what they are with no judgment of good or bad of any situation or event.

Who would we be?  We would be who we really are, and that is really the place we long to be.  That no matter what is happening where our perceptions say, "OMG, this is bad.  Or OMG, this is good," we simply allow it to be what it is.  In this way, we allow the Universal flow to be just that....it just is.

Our minds cannot possibly decipher why an event is happening so we allow it to be, and we call it God.  Because really underneath everything we are connected to the all is its nonphysical essence.  Thus, no matter what disguise something appears, we know it's God speaking.

Ponder this.....

Nature doesn't get all wigged out over anything.  It simply knows itself and then allows whatever to unfold.  It's like a tree that loses its leaves in the fall and winter.  It knows that the loss is not any big deal because it's the flow of what happens naturally.  Likewise, when we experience a loss like money, it's because there is a natural flow that is happening.  There is something we're supposed to let go of in order for something to emerge in its place.

It's not always easy, but we can accept that we're part of nature and give up the fight, then things will naturally come and go without us labeling it good or bad.  Doesn't this sound like a much more peaceful and fun way to live?

If you would like some assistance in learning to let go and surrendering, contact me and mention altmd, and I'll give you the "surrender" discount.  And fun we will have when you learn to laugh with what you've held on to :).

Isn't it interesting that the things we worry about most are the things that change?  The one thing that stays in rhythm even when we're stressed is our breath.  It breathes for us no matter what.

Now think about this.....

What would happen if we had to worry about our breath, had to worry about where our next breath was going to come from, essentially, make our breath happen.  What a yikeorama!

Now, take this a step further.  We don't have to make our hair grow, our fingernails grow, our heart beat.  Everything is on automatic, and how wonderful is this.

Yet, we don't stop and even contemplate what a value we have in this miracle, and it always is here for us supporting us no matter what.  When I fully understood this recently, I couldn't believe that I had been worrying about things when all the miracles of life were happening right in front of me, and I hadn't even noticed.

Well, now I'm noticing, and this awareness is not new, but new in the sense that I'm aware of it now.  You see, a few years ago, I got to experience a Buddhist monk, who was teaching us about mindful breathing.  And during the meditation, I was in the place of bliss, and loved it.

With this said, when the meditation was done, I quickly raised my hand and asked what was next.  The monk smiled and said, "Breathe in, breathe out."  I thought he was being funny, and I said, "No, really, what's the next level, the next step."  He still smiled, and said, "Breathe in, breathe out."

You can see that this was during a time that I was perceiving my business in steps...what's the next level, what's the next phase, and I was bringing others into my field to mirror this.  Now, I see that this monk was bringing me a message, but I wasn't ready.

Reaching a soul maturity means that when we pay attention, the message is clear, and it's the AHA moment that we capture much like a Kodak moment.  Now, I'm aware of my breath, and so grateful for it.

Right now, just breathe in and breathe out, and be conscious of your breath.  You can't be stressed and concentrate on your breath.  Wouldn't it be nice to give the breath the recognition that it deserves because if we didn't have breath, we wouldn't be here.

Thus, the lesson is appreciating breath as the greatest thing we can bestow as it allows us to unfold our true spirit, and add to the Universe as we go along.  You are your breath, and when you fully have this awareness, you naturally flow with the rhythm of the natural world.  And it all happens through us, as does everything.

We all have fear, and it can really drive us crazy, can't it?  Yet, what we are afraid of really doesn't come to pass.  It's only a thought in our consciousness that drives us to the edge.  But how do we calm our fears?

You know, I will use different techniques to help me calm and comfort what I'm afraid of.  Sometimes, it is so funny as my ego wants be to be all discombobulated (I think that's a word, and if not, it is now).  My ego becomes enormous when I'm afraid.  Yikes!

Thus, when I have a thought in the present moment, I will spend some time with the fear, and be with it like a child who is afraid and needs comforting.  One thing that I do is from Deepak Chopra's book, The Way of the Wizard.

Deepak recommends that you be with the fear, and this is one way to do it.  You get paper and a pen and start writing from this statement, "I'm afraid of," and fill in the blank.  Don't judge or analyze what you write, just write as if something more powerful is moving through you, and coming to the surface.  You can write for 5 minutes, and believe me, the time will go by fast, and in the blink of an eye, you'll be done.  Remember to breathe in and out while you're doing it, and be conscious of this as well.  You can continue writing beyond the 5 minutes if you desire.

You'll be amazed at what comes up.  Possibly some tears as well as laughter.  It certainly does for me.  It's so cathartic because you get the opportunity to be in relationship with your fears as being part of you, and not separate from you.

Anytime we envision something as separate from, then that's when things go haywire, and we definitely feel it.  It almost feels like you are dying, and that feels awful.  Thus, just write and breathe, and comfort that which you thought was separate from you.

You'll come to appreciate the time you spend with your fears on a regular basis, and meet them and introduce yourself.  It's a fun way to experience them, don't you think?

And one thing to add is the ol' laughorama with your fears too.  It makes life seem much more lighthearted, and the way to BE present in your life.

In the past few months, I've had the pleasure to experience hanging with Indigo kids.  If you don't know about these kids, just do a search on Google, and find out who they are, and why you would want to experience being with them.

Essentially, Indigo kids know they've come to this earth with a message, and they aspire to live that message.  They do know they are different, and thus, the current model of "school" doesn't fit theirs, and they will be voicing a different experience that fits.  Most often, it is home school.

Hanging with kids is so much fun anyway, and the Indigo kids just add to the flavor of the experience.  The reason I love being with them is they remind me of who I truly am in the essence of light and laughter.

For example, we have a cabin on our property, and recently a couple stayed at the cabin with their grandchildren, who are 7 and 8.  As you can guess, these kids are Indigos, and their vocabulary is far above the norm.

The 7 year old girl told me that she knows she is here for a reason and that she has a destiny, a path.  She also mentioned that she will be shown several choices, and she will have to make one that will align with her path.  In addition, when I said, "Wow, you make me want to be a kid again."  She said that all I have to do is experience being a kid on a daily basis and magically I am a kid.  WOWZA!  Can you see what I mean about being in their light?

Her brother also chimed in to let me know that he knew he was different in kindergarten, and would come home "grumpy" from school.  Fortunately, his mother knew what was happening, and now affords them the experience that will bright their light to the world.  They often sit out in nature and feel the experience, and then write about it, draw a picture or photograph what they feel.

In essence, this is who we are, and when we allow our light to unfold and surrender into this light, then our experiences will be exactly what is needed to bring forth our messages.

So hang with kids on a regular basis, and do a search for Indigo kids, and be with them as well.  You will have such a delightful experience and remember who you are as a carrier of light in playing hopscotch, musical chairs and ring around the rosey...and booger flickin' :).

If you desire to remember who you are by clearing beliefs of which you are not, and would like to schedule a session, please contact me.  If you mention altmd and "Indigo," I'll provide a discount.

We all deserve to shine our light of that which we truly are.  Be ready to wear sunglasses on a regular basis :).

You know, a few years ago I decided that I wanted to learn to play golf.  My golf partner at that time was in her 70's, and she was a hoot.  I told her that I had never golfed, and she just said, "Oh, let's go have some fun."

Fun?  I was scared to death, and all the judgment in me came up.  "What if I'm no good?  What if people have to wait for me, and get irritated?  What if I hit somebody in the head?"  All those what if's just kept coming, but I was determined to have fun.

So on the way to the golf course, I practiced EFT, and used the statements:  "Even though I think I'm going to suck at it, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.  Even though I think others will be laughing, I deeply and completely love and accept myself."  Then on the first tee, I sort of hid my tapping and just said, "I'm having fun and I'm very good."  And it turned out to be a great day!

EFT does help create a different way of being in the moment.  Yet, more important than this is how to get out of our heads and into our bodies.

What does this mean?

After my first experience on the golf course, I decided to take some lessons, and what a profound experience for me.  The golf pro told me that I was thinking too much in my head, and that golf was a "feeling" sport.  I didn't quite know what that meant, but was willing to learn.

The golf pro had me close my eyes and just feel the golf club moving back and forth.  He had me practice this several times.  Then he had me hit the ball and told me that I was still in my head.  Yikes!

He then described the movie, The Legend of Bagger Vance, and how Will Smith's character, who plays the caddy, says to Matt Damon's character, who plays the golf pro:  "Every one has an authentic swing, but it can't be learned, it has to be remembered.  You don't see the ball go in the hole, you feel it go in the hole."

I was familiar with the movie because I had watched it, but now I was putting what I had learned to the test.  This whole message was a metaphor for my life.

There have been so many times when I've conducted my life from the premise of my mind, and no wonder things get stuck.  I haven't been feeling with my entire body and being one with the present moment.  I have existed as a floating head :)...being separate from my body.  Can you imagine what this looks like?

Thus, to feel present in each moment and remember who I truly am connecting to my entire body of streaming consciousness, and then connecting to all that is in my present moment of streaming consciousness.  It's one steady flow.

Incidentally, when I'm the floating head, nothing flows well.  When my head and body are connected, everything flows well.  Makes sense, right?

So you have an authentic swing, but you don't learn about it.  You remember it by being present in this moment, and recognize your authentic swng in it.

If you desire to learn to recognize your true self, not your personality, then contact me ant mention "authentic swing" and receive a discount.  Then you can stop being the floating head...doesn't that feel great?

When you are being a rainbow, you'll see a rainbow.  So what does this mean exactly?

In order to see that which we want to see, then we must be coming from the same stuff it is made of.  With this said, there is no separation from that which we are, and that which we want to attract and see in our physical world.

We come from the non-physical world, and so does everything else in our world.  Thus, when we can really contemplate and BE the presence of all there is, then we will bring in to our physical sight sense that which we emanate from.

Pop goes the weasel....

Sometimes this can be a challenging concept because we're so used to leading with our senses.  Yet, we are much more than that that we see.  When we stop leading with our senses, and BE in the consciousness of all, we will create things through us and pop them in our experience.  The same stuff that is in a rainbow is in us, and thus, we see it.

When we are BEing our true selves, then this is when the magic happens.  Our true state can fully be described because it is a feeling place, and how do you describe a feeling exactly.  Thus, you stop trying to explain or describe, and just be it.

Now, Eckhart Tolle will say, "Being is before thought," and one way to get to this is to be your breath and focus on your breath.  You know how we've been lead to believe we're supposed to go out and make things happen, and go out and get something?    Well, ponder this:  Do you have to go out and make your breath or does breathing happen through you without you having to do anything.

That's what I'm describing here, and it's a much more fun way to BE in life.  You don't make anything happen; it happens through you when you are BEing it.

So if you want to have more fun in your life, then you must be fun so it shows up in your physical presence.  If you want more wealth, then you must be it so it shows up.  It's the same thing for everything you desire.

Be the rainbow, and it shows up for you.  Do you see the magic that is created by you and for you?

If you want to learn how to be that which you want to attract, then contact me and mention altmd for the "rainbow" discount.
